I'm back. Did you miss me?
I think in my absence I have become slightly less relevant. But it wouldn't be me without making a song and dance about my return, much like Michael Jackson's "This Is It" tour. Like Jacko, I promise to return as good as ever. I aim to get back to the peak of my powers. And when it is all said and done, when I achieve my goal, when I win that elusive premiership, there is a good chance my SFA career could be over. It could be "it."
But retirement is not at the forefront of my mind at this point, I am just focusing on the Southern Dragons season 2010. In my absence, I notice that the Dragons seem to have become the most hated team. Only time will tell. It is a tag we will thrive off. We do not aim to be hated, but if it happens, we will prove the doubters wrong.
I have scanned over the threads and also noticed that we are grossly underrated. But the most obvious problem, is that things have been too nice. Too many compliments, not enough banter. Thank God for Boncer.
So any thoughts I had of toning it down a bit, holding myself back, all that garbage...It's out the window. As for me, I have enjoyed the last few weeks. Tiger Woods' transgressions may have made the headlines, but he really wasn't with that girl at crown towers. She was mine.
I hope that my comeback will be different from past past 2 seasons. I hope that I can play in my first finals series. And I hope that season 2010 is as good as it promises. For that, we need more antagonisers. If I have to put myself out there to stir things up again, then I will.
This is it. Glory awaits the Southern Dragons. We have hired Tiger Woods to teach us how to conduct ourselves in public. we have also hired Trishna and krishna as our new motivational mascots for season 2010.
Beware the Dragon.
