joel bowden,arron fiora,greg tivendale.
mathew knights,brad ottens,david rodan
ezra poyas,andrew kellaway,ray hall.
greg stafford,adam houlihan,clinton king
I/C:mark chaffey,andrew krakour,steven sizzler,rory hilton.
in:poyas,chaffey
out:richo[injured],rogers[toss up with hilton].

*if danny wants to send a clear message about our midfield why not start with campbell onto the backline.this maybe a blessing in disguise for both player and side.
*arron fiora into the middle gives us speed and flair this lad has the confidence to back himself. something that is sadly lacking in the middle.
*like cambo knighter has gone past being a damaging midfielder however he will add class to our fwd line.
*poyas needs to start the game on the field.
*kellaway to f/fwd? no im not on grass!for a bloke his size he is a reliable mark and his kicking has improved when it comes to shots at goal.if the ball is loose n the fwd line at least it will be hard for the dees to clear it.
*while i think chaffey needs another week indications are he will be picked[cant do any worse than rogers game last week].

cheers!

Not bad! Not bad at all!

I would prefer to start Rodan in the middle and Houlihan on the flank.

I agree with Campbell and Knights onto half back and half forward flanks respectively (while acknowledging that the midfield will continue to rotate)

In defence we will need to counter Neitz (Gaspar) Schwarz (Holland) and Brad Green. AK would be my first choice here, but maybe Ty (TarZan!) could be given this job.

I think we will go with 1 tall and multiple small/medium options up forward (ie Sheedy's 5 Full Forwards policy)

I agree with Fiora in the middle for a straight swap with Campbell. I worry though that Fiora is still too light for this.

Crocker indicated that they were worried moreso about Chaffey's conditioning - he may still get another week in the Magoos.

I want to see Poyas used as part of the midfield rotation, cycle him through the forward line with Bowden, Hilton, Campbell etc.

Rogers/Hilton are the most likely to get dropped.

Krakouer should be retained as a small forward - he survives only on opportunities and let's face it, he didn't get many of them last week.

Is there any substance to the story that Ottens has a virus? if so
where did you hear it from. If this is the case this will stretch what remains of our talls as i dont see how Stafford will be able to keep up with White .Hall might be able to run with White but will not be able to match him in the ruck. With the possibility of Ottens being out also makes us vunerable up foward .hhmmm!!

My team.

B> Torney Gaspar Zantuck
HB> Cameron Holland Campbell
C> Tivendale Rodan Bowden
HF> Houlihan Hall Kellaway
F> Knights Ottens Krakouer
R> Stafford King Poyas

INT> Pettifer, Sziller, Fiora, Hudson.

#Campbell should be in the backline on a man.
#Poyas in on the ball, Rodan in there with him.
#Hall to start in the forward line, but run with White while Staff drops back into the forward line.
#Kellaway in there as the third tall, purely in there for his defensive work, use him similar to how St.Kilda use Aaron Hamill.
#Pettifer and Hudson in for the ability to kick goals. We just lost our best goalkicker, if Huddo isn't going to play now, then when?
# Give Chaff another week in the magoos, let him get himself 100% before he plays.

TOO Most of my views are baised on your ideas, well done, I just thought Id refine them a bit!;) :)

no worries TB.not sure about either huddo or pettifer getting in tho but can see your logic.if it was a choice out of the 2 id go for huddo purely and simply i believe pettifer isnt up to afl standard at this stage.harsh maybe but he has been a real dissapointment to me.
there is no question that he has the skill but he what is a major concern for the lad is his attack on the ball or lack of it.each time the ball is in dispute he falls to the ground expecting and waiting to be hit.i hope for the lads sake that he can overcome this and become a regular.
cheers!
