Port Adelaide lost 3 finals in a row (just like us), then starting winning a few. The main constant? They kept getting there, building their experience and won a premiership.

So there you go. It's happened twice this century. Teams that don't know how to win finals, build their experience and eventually start winning them, and they've made it through with a premiership. The really promising aspect of this was that both Port Adelaide and West Coast suffered heartbreaking losses. West Coast lost to Sydney by 1 point, in the Grand Final. It just made them hungrier, I see the same happening with us.

We just need to keep getting there...

Richmond have the big target on their backs unlike other teams.
We get hunted.
Hope the media don't use this because it will put on more pressure for Richmond.

And I'm paying for being born into a Richmond family and choosing to support Richmond over living out in the yard :(
I was born into a Collingwood family. :drunk:

If it's a choice between making finals and losing first week or not making finals at all I know which one I'd want.

But it's not enough.

Missing completely?

Yep. The anticipation and buildup all week, the excitement and nerves walking to the ground on Sunday, the "what if's" all game. Even when we lose. Give me that every year over finishing tenth.

Did you have a vision from a young age that you would become a Richmond fan, and break the mold? :D

Hehe, my uncle gave me a richmond jumper with number 4 on it just before I started grade prep.

This is a fund raiser to help Royce Hart, a legend of the Richmond Football Club, get knee and back surgery without having to sell his treasured memories of medals and trophies from his legendary time as a tiger. Lets all get together and help someone who was a big legacy of this club as well as a true champion not only of this club but for the game of AFL.

Wait that's not good news, this is...
As of the 15th september, this campaign is no longer running as the word from the Richmond Football Club is that they are going to help Royce Hart out paying for the surgeries required. I thank all supporters who had promptly jumped to help with donations. All donations are being refunded to you and will appear in yr accounts 2-5 business days. To everyone messaging me with praise, please note, I was just a cog in a cause suggested by a fellow tiger supporter Narelle Morgan. She is the one who deserves all the praise. Once again thank you to all the donators and I wish Royce all the best with everything he faces....Go Tigers

We have to keep getting into the finals... experience counts. The tide will turn, but it won't get better if we can't keep returning to the well.
