Maister hasn't been "crap" up forward for us (got better as the year went on last year and was good for 2 goals a game this year, until his first injury and was excellent again against you guys, in his last game (before he injured his hammy badly) and we also seem pretty committed to playing both McEvoy and Hickey, so when added to Riewoldt (for the time being), Lee, Stanley and White, I doubt we'll be getting another tall option for the forward line unless he is available at pick 3 and his name happens to start with Tom and end with Boyd. Otherwise, we can just wait until next year when we'll likely have the chance to grab a McCartin, or Hugh Goddard, if we want to add to that area then.

If we take Dayle Garlett, our "no-dickhead policy" goes right out the window.

Though we did keep Jesse Stringer...hmm...this'll be an interesting draft/trade period.

He's a good WAFL/VFL level player, but if you want to be going anywhere you don't want him near your first team.
He's been better than that with us, especially considering he was not even really close to full fitness last year. Even so, he still should have been in our team for most of last year, IMO and if he had been, rather than Kosi, I reckon it might have made the difference between us just missing the 8 and making it. We were a better team when he was in there at the end, rather than Kosi. He's no "world-beater" but someone who is good for 2 goals a game when in form and fit is worth having in your team. He's good value as the 2nd or 3rd tall option, as far as I'm concerned (unless you have a forward line like Hawthorn). Teams like Collingwood and Carlton (not to mention WB) could have done with him in their forward lines this year.

That said, he will probably find it very hard to get a look in now that Lee is in there with Riewoldt and with us looking committed to McEvoy/Hickey and likely to want to get games into White, who is hugely talented.

Where do you see Mitch Thorp Thorne? Could Geelong pick him up because we are looking for a key forward.

Reckon he might be taken late/rookie. When I put up the next round he may get a gig, haven't finished it yet. Can see him in purple.

Our club was full of dickheads back when SJ was a party boy.

I guess they all just kind of grew up.

I don't think it is wise to blanket call Gartlett a dick-head; immature teenager with poor guidance/leadershop would be more accurate.

A couple of these mock drafts have the Swans taking Perris with their second round pick. As the Swans NSW Scholarship holder he can be taken with their last pick in the draft.

Funnily enough, considering the Swans fascination with brothers at the moment, I can see them using that pick for the next selection you have - Jonathon Marsh.

wouldn't surprise me. We now have a few picks around this time, Marsh, Tippet and a Ruck would do nicely.

With the Eagles no longer having pick 6 do you think that Billings is still a possible pick ? If not, who is most likely to go at pick 11 ?
