They're training all around Melbourne for the next week or so.The locations they'll be training at were in the Hun on monday.

Welcome to my world. Mega military base up here and the odd Blackhawk or 6 buzzing overhead is a regular happening. And as for the jets coming in from the sea, is a bit of a buzz as well.

They flew over my place in Fitzroy last night. Four of them flying in pairs, extremely low and fast over the skyline with no lights. It looked very eerie! Especially as I had no idea what was going on until I checked the story online.

The Blackhawks will be doing urban night training for the next week between 4 and 11pm.

We have had the airshow at Avalon for years and this year is the first time these Choppers have been this visible. Also the show a strenght in Sydney last week with the smallish fleet sailing in. I live in the northern Sub's of Melbourne and have noticed more activity around the Broadmeadows Army base lately.

it's an archaic invention whereby wood byproducts are crushed into a very thin material, then embossed with ink to form ancient (and usually bizarrely longer) versions of words.

For eg, srs is spelled serious, bznz is spelled business; and common acronyms such as wtf and lol are shunned.

Hilariously, they aren't even able to be distributed electronically - requiring actual immature humans to deliver them very early every morning!!

It was a great week at work watching them come past on both sides of the building.
