Swap him for Scotland
If we traded Scotland I would stop supporting Carlton.

Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?
Swap him for Scotland
Minimum 4 years...rubbish. You have a nucleus there which won't take that long. A plethora of key defenders, midfielders. JK up forward, Cox in the ruck. You also need to take into account the 'list management' that is taking place at the moment. You're a better team then what your performances are indicating.Any KP player you pick up in the draft in 2008 is going to take roughly 4-6 years before they are a real contributor to the team. When you have a dominant midfield the KP players look a lot better, not just that but it is much easier to kick goals. Look at the cats forward line - leading goal kicker is on about 38 for the season and is more of a flanker - yet they blow teams away every week because of the strong midfield.
Get Kerr - make your genuine window 2009 - 2012 while the likes of Fev, Judd, Scotland & Stevens are still in peak condition.
West Coast are a minimum 4 years away from being contenders again due to the complete midfield rebuild that's going on - take advantage of it and maybe pick up Embley & Hunter at the same time.

The most I'd give up is our first rounder and a player, anything more and we should leave him alone and keep our first pick.
This would still leave us with a second round pick which still means we can get one of the Key Fowards in the draft. We wouldn't be getting a KF with our first pick anyway, it would be best available which means Hurley, Hartlett or Ziebell IMO.
