TAC Cup graduates Ben Kearns and Josh Turner join former Development Squad member Callum Matheson as the newest members of the VFL team for the new year.

Absolutely stoked that Ben Kearns has been added to the VFL list. That kid can seriously play. Wing / HF type who didnt go in his TAC year as were some questions around a few areas which wont go into but fair to say when he turned up as 19yo he dispelled all of them. Lit the TAC up and more importantly blitzed them in the VFL with Casey. Speed, good hands and a super kick.

JOsh Turner is bloody fearless. Won the Knights B&F and is a real in and under type. I thought he might have been a chance as a rookie so not surprised to see him get a go. My mail was the Knights rated him very high.

Thanks for the thread Dave and keeping us up with where the twos are at.

I have no idea how this all works. Does recruiting players to the twos mean we may be interested in them as future AFL players or are they solely to improve our VFL side?

Interesting question that. I'd say it would be to improve our VFL side first and then potentially draft. I don't think we've recruited/rookied anyone from our VFL squad, might be wrong though.

Nope we have not Drafted/Rookied anyone from our VFL List. We have with Ceglar and Elliot drafted a Player we had play for us from the Murray Bushrangers

Dale Tapping rates Turner highly, told him he was a good chance to get picked up in the rookie draft. But I guess we took Marsh and Lagndon instead
