Batchelor showed promise last year but was flaky and I wasn't sure if he was going to make it.

This year he has become incredibly dependable and taken on a range of different types of forwards.

He's strong overhead, fearless, has a beautiful left foot and makes great decisions.

He's a real find and has the potential to be a 200+ gamer.

Vickery. I've been calling for him to be traded for years. Now i'd be sad if he was to leave, has shown a lot more this year.

Interesting that the first 3 posts mention 6 different candidates!
Good sign...

I would go for Batch - from somewhat fringe at best to a foundation of the 3rd best defence (points against) in the comp.

Can't be KMac. Started year with blistering performance, and steaily gone downhill :)
Gees, its a hard question. Lennon, Sheds, Floss....
But i'm going to run with KMac. Maybe he's just exceeding my expectations.

Batchelor. Went from fringe/depth player who people wrote off to a lock in our 22. Has provided good drive and more importantly, solid defense and bodywork to help out our more 'dashing' rebounders off half back. Really impressed with how he now has the confidence to leave his man, go for the mark or go for a run and hit a target 40-50m away. Has become a reliable unit.
Edwards has been immense, but his improvement has come off the last two years so on this year alone, I'll have to go with Batch. Well done mate!

Sheds was outstanding last year too, hasn't he won the past 2 most improved player awards in a row on Jack Dyer night?
Tough call this year, when comparing to last years form you'd have to go with either K-Mac, Grigg or Vickery

Edwards was performing to about the same level the end of last year
Grigg has had a great year but had a bad year last year

McIntosh then Batchelor for me
McIntosh went from almost being delisted to demanding a spot in our 22
Batchelor went from being a shutdown defender to adding a heap of rebound and attack

I'm picking treloar or Yarran for next year
Both would be improved just by putting on a Tigers jumper!

I'm picking Shed. He was good last year, but now he's awesome.
