Im surprised no one is talking about this. In my eyes he is arguably one of the most likely players in the league to leave his club to chase success, particularly to a side like Fremantle

He has openly said he isnt happy at Eagles. He is a guy whose made a insane amount of cash so far in his career so can definetly choose success over money. He has 3 years left at the top level. Eagles havnt even offered him a deal yet nor has either side really disvussed why that decision has been made

Question is, what is his worth and who wants him. Would Freo entertain taking hm and what is his trade value

In my eyes it wouldnt surprise if Freo get in his ear and a deal works out in regard to something like Tim Kelly for a 2nd rounder with Kelly getting a 2 year deal on lowish wages. Id suggest that is a win/win scenario. Kelly passed his used by date for Eagles and if Warner comes in Kelly is redundant and no longer needed unless he massively changes role

Will be interesting to see where this goes but id definitely watch this space

Preference is to keep him because he is still a quality player, he can play forward, will be on a heavily reduced salary and we wouldn't get a heap for him in a trade.

But if someone is happy to offer him more years/money and he takes it I won't lose any sleep.

Having said all that, appears very fit at the moment and is injury free. My tune may have changed come September.

Kelly is doing ok for the Eagles, they have other areas needing their time and attention.

After his manager hawks his name around, and the media get some juicy headlines, Eagles will sign him up for a further 2 years. It will happen, but what's the hurry.

Kelly can't play on a wing cos he can't run all day like a winger has to. Sharp does. Kelly won't be lining up at half forward for his current team cos that's also not what he does. Stop trying to get rid of a player you don't want. It's wasted air.

If he got delisted we could do worse than offer 1 year on base chips for squad depth.

He's not worth a draft pick inside 50 or an inflated wage and I absolutely would not play him on the wing over an actual winger.

His wife won't agree to leave WA and freo a) don't need him and b) won't take him after what happened last time.

I can't think of a player less likely to be traded actually (unless you're suggesting he's getting divorced but I doubt that).
