Its oout over seas....not sure about a local release date. I do know that there are lots of reputable sellers offering this for sale on ebay at present. With no region coding for PS3 games you can be sure that if you buy from ebay the game/gun will be compatable. I have almost gone for it a few times but opted for other games off ebay instead. The average price seems to be $150ish for the game/gun & postage costs.

Just got it today.

While the graphics are far from the best of what the next gen machines are capable of, the gameplay is hella fun.

I have Time Crisis 2 on the ps2, found it to be mad fun back in the day. When i get a ps3 (by the end of the year) i'd love to pick this one up.

gridlocked: are you playing it on a normal tv or a large lcd or plasma screen ? If it is on a large screen... whats it like (in terms of pressing the trigger and reaction time on the screen) ?

Im just using a normal tv, but by all reports it will work fine with a large plasma or lcd tv. The kit comes with two litte l.e.d boxes which you sit a top of your tv, and basically they recognize where your gun is aiming and when you are shooting etc.

All up including postage it cost me $120. Around the same if not cheaper than what you will pay when relased here. Just make sure the seller is reputable and has good feed back and you will be fine.

Oh and the only problem I had was the the instruction for setting it up were in some Asian language haha. But it just went on the net and found out how to do it.

haha well ill gladly set it up in asian to get it earlier and probably cheaper than id get it if i waited for the oz version.

thanks for the heads up too... id heard ps3 games were region free but didnt want to grab one in case i didnt hear right and got burned. ... about to jump on ebay to secure my copy now
