We have to come out in front if they want him that badly. They hold no bargaining power at all. Basically he's going to GC.sorry in advance if this has already been discussed, but i'm not about to go through 700 posts to check.
we simply cannot trade Tippett to Sydney if we dont at least break even on the deal. Under no circumstances can we improve one of our known realistic competitors for next years flag without improving ourselves.
If Tippett declares the Swans as his destination, they must pay appropriately, and it needs to address an area of weakness for us immediately (unless the club is dismissing next year and looking longer term which i doubt)
if they cant/wont, then it's the draft for Kurt.
Those clean moments/plays from brodie throughout the year are much to look forward to, once he builds greater consistency - it looked he was towards the end of the h&A + finals.
Most quotable film i've ever seen - "Pool's are Perfect for Holding water"![]()

ULTIMATE PUNCH!cool beans. WHiskey.
I know you're angry, but this is just plain ludicrous and/or delusional.Jenkins and Mckernan have more upside than Tippett.
It's not as ludicrous as you're saying. You may have misunderstood the comment. I don't know if Tippett has ANY upside. Kurt is nearly 26, so is already in his prime years, and probably won't improve too much on his previous 3 or so years at whichever club he ends up at. Jenkins and McKernan are still young-ish, so we could still significant improvement from them.I know you're angry, but this is just plain ludicrous and/or delusional.
The fact that absolutely none of these quotes (apart from his gutless text message to his life long friends) come from Kurt speaks volumes. Has not come out once and thanked the club for developing him in to the player he is now, paying him way more than he's worth for the last three years, nor said anything to the supporters he's disappointed. Moo.

Is moo a replacement for that horrible word used to describe a ladies lower body part?![]()
I don't care if Kurt has no improvement left in him at all - there's almost no chance at all that Jenkins or McKernan will end up being as good as he is now. Jenkins will at least end up being a good AFL standard footballer, which is more than I can say for McKernan - but Tippett is in a different class entirely. It's not as ludicrous as you're saying. Also, does anyone know if McKernan is a contracted player for next year?
I'm generally all for fair play and not being a shit bloke - but.i.can.not.wait. for a petrenko or danger to come off the line and absolutely clean him up next year, wherever he is at.
Generally when someone invests time, money and effort in you, you return them with service and performance - seeing as tippet has nicked off after all this investment in him, to potentially play at his prime at another club is what really REALLY makes him the shit bloke in this instance. I hope he gets concussed in plane turbulence whilst flying first class to his new destination and never plays again, thats how livid i am (and many others) with this goose.

Teased to be in a different class entirely.. Still waiting.. And still waiting for him to do it consistently.. And against the better defenders/teams..I don't care if Kurt has no improvement left in him at all - there's almost no chance at all that Jenkins or McKernan will end up being as good as he is now. Whilst tippet is grovelling on all fours after spilling another mark, i can't see why petrenks can't flex a bit of hip and shoulder muscle (before heading off for the red vestWhile I agree in totality with your post do you really think Petrenko is the guy to clean him up? I can just see him bouncing off Tip$, doing his shoulder and going off the ground crying![]()
)Hands up who will attempt to fast track this process by throwing gold coins at his head when they see him - cos obviously 800k isn't enough, we should help the poor bloke out.. (my hand is currently up now)hands up who cares if he sits out most of the rest of his career with concussion?

No.. IS in a different class entirely. 50+ goal per year players do not grow on trees, let alone when they're combined with better than competent ruckmen. Why do you think clubs are reportedly offering him $1M? Most of the people on this board are embittered Adelaide fans, who (rightly) feel hard done by - and thus feel the need to put him down to minimise their sense of loss. In their haste to put him down they fail to understand just how good a player we are losing.Teased to be in a different class entirely.. Still waiting.. Settle!I know you're angry, but this is just plain ludicrous and/or delusional.
