He can't sign, he is not a Free Agent! No that simple, especially if silly Tippett signs with Collingwood.

Let's face it Jen You, me and your confidante were wrong re the $$$$$$$'s, got the lifestyle and family bit right though. $Kurt$ wants it all...$$$$$'s and family/lifestyle. just screwing the GCS for every last $$$$ just like he did with us last contract. Just wonder if he's been poorly advised by his manager because Kurt's character is gonna take a big hit over the way he has handled this!!What? My source is close to the decision making and is genuine. Could it be at all possible that they didn't know his intentions at the time? All they said to me was: it wasn't about money(that remains to be seen) and they thought he would go 'probably to the gold coast'. That's all I ever said about this - other than the pre-July situation.

This is all very good...but there is noone of real, unadulterated, star/superstar quality available, and this money should be buying someone of this ilk...or a combo of 2 exceptional players...again, there is none available...not that I know of anyway. Goddard was the only choice as far as quality goes...emphasis on was.Chris McDermott @ChrisSMcDermott
Bright side@Adelaide_FC is $1 million plus now available on salary cap with no Tippett and no Knights.Time for a serious counter attack.
For once Bone said something intelligent.

Damn...Yes he can. He just says top the Crows - only deal with Collingwood ala Gunston and others before him. The player gets to chose where he plays his football, we can not just deal him to club x, y or z as that's the best deal. It doesn't and has never worked like that.

Any serious suggestions who we could snare?
I am dreading AFC spending good money on a couple of worthless tools.
Three Words..Neil Bloody Craig!!!!Can someone jog my memory and remind me how Sydney got an under contract Marty Mattner to move clubs?
Didn't they entice him with an improved contract and then he asked for a trade to Sydney?
We need a KPD, a speedy outside midfilder and a lightning quick forward pocket but who are they and will they move to Adelaide?
Up until last week I was hopeful that Kurt would stay. I am so disappointed. I thought the exodus in previous years under Neil Craig would stop with the arrival of Brendon Sanderson. What's going on?I'm gutted - really lost for words. What has caused this to happen ? He clearly wants out to anywhere else. Is there something toxic at the AFC ?
Three Words..Neil Bloody Craig!!!!
Yep.....but who?Players don't have to be out of Contract to be traded hell someone who signed yesterday for their club could still come to us if we really wanted them and they wanted to come here.
Same answer, Neil made no secret he was out of favour so Marty was happy to go!!I understand the problematic, I'm referring to the logistics as he was under contract at the time.
Or we simply hold off one year and go for Jeremy Cameron by offering him a 3 year deal worth close to $2,000,000 and see the GWS match that.
He is from Dartmoor and that is closer to Adelaide than it is Melbourne.
GC won't part with a 1st Rd for him. Carlton won't hand over #11. Only Brisbane have prepared to handover #8.
Is Pick 16 & Pick 18 > greater value than Pick 8. It is.
But it happens Carl. I don't like it either, but I want AFC to have the gonads to be just as creative.I don't like this attitude.
Seriously, if we genuinely think that Collingwood, Hawthorn... have this huge advantage then let's stop putting a team in and accept defeat.

He was pushed!!
But the managers will know that cap space is there to plunder. Best to use now so the fat pricks can't build a third story on their beachhouse.This. It doesn't have to be Cameron, but wait until next year and spend the money on someone who is worth it. We have a whole lot of salary cap space now and nobody to spend it on. The answer is simple - don't waste it because we have it, or suddenly start giving existing players a whole lot of extra money, just bide our time and wait until there is someone worth going after with big bucks.
Are you Kurt?

I understand all of that but how did Sydney know he was unhappy?
Didn't Sydney renegotiate an increase in his contract as an extra intensive as well?
Or was that just cotton wool to hide the Neil Craig issue at the time?
