Then he isn't that much of a 'shattered man' as the idea of playing for the GWS has more appeal to it than apologizing for his actions. The playing group are all adults, they are not teenager and I'd suggest they would all forgive him as they would all do the same if they were in his situation.

I would suggest that the players have taken issue with Tippett, not so much the decision but how he has gone about it

Some players such as D-Mac took pay cuts mid season to keep Kurt on the understanding that he had told the club of his intention to stay

Finally Kurt has lost much respect for not eye balling his team mates about his decision and for misleading them by telling them 1. He had not made a decision and 2. Saying that if he left. Adelaide it would only be because he wants to return to Qld

Sanderson is after someone BIG -> Kurt's leaving, well okay he was going to leave anyway -> SYDNEY WTF? -> Err Sydney are offering us WHAT? -> F*** off Sydney -> F*** off White (pretty harsh but that's how I felt at the time) -> ANGER RISING, TRADE WEEK HURRY UP -> Holy sh*t... we've done what!? -> TRIGG YOU COMPLETE UTTER ASSH*LE -> Omg omg omg it's the end of the world -> We're done for, might aswell wait for the outcome -> Hmm it's been a week and still nothing.. -> Maybe it won't be so bad after all? -> Current state, feel optimistic.

And if he then decides to come back after a year's retirement, hell, we should continue to pick him up each year and dub the draft the annual "Kurt Tippett retirement day".

I doubt that this is true, but hope it is. Lifelong ban for the agent and deregistration for KT if he is a party to it. I hope he does retire. The AFL would be better off without him

I really think this is beyond the 'apologise and you can come out of time out' stage. $kurt playing for the Crows again would be more divisive to the player group than the benefit of having him in the team. You are basically telling the rest of the group that it's ok to be a selfish bastard, so long as you are one of the best players in the team.

Agreed it's not the same when he's walking down the street, but he would probably become one of the "faces" of the club used in marketing etc. Certainly not the anonymity he sought in Sydney.

Either way, going from a club that played in a prelim, to the premiers, to getting whacked by 15 goals each week..can't be looking forward to that!

I think this is nothing more than a rumour. Firstly, the Butcher would be a moron to try and mess with the draft rules after the stink he's been a part of so far.

Secondly, I really doubt that $kurt will choose not playing and $0 over $750k+ and playing for GWS/whoever picks him up.

He didn't hate the club, players, administration or supporters - he hated the city of Adelaide, it's lifestyle and pace.

Sp before you go assassinating his character with little to no idea of what the hell your talking about, do your due diligence and understand why he's moving.

We all know Money has played a part but first and foremost, he wanted to leave Adelaide, also anyone in his circumstances (wanting to leave that city and was offered a 4 year $4,000,000) would do the same. If he was a "shattered man" about playing for GWS, why isn't he looking at signing with the Crows? why - he hates living in the city of Adelaide.

as far as i can tell you dont know that he hated living in adelaide any more than you know that he doesnt. you also dont know anything about the situation other than what has been reported and your excessive use of punctuation doesnt do anything to further your point.

Based on what has been reported, you believe he doesnt like adelaide and does like sydney. youre being very selective about which reported 'facts' you believe.
