why all of a sudden have all these sydney supporters popped back up, have your cards just expired or something?

They've run out of Tippett news to talk about, so have started talking about how little they think of our supporter base. Which had led to more of them looking at this thread and being prompted to respond.

The "theory" you are promoting is uttter crap. As evidence I give you 822 pages up to now filled with self delusion, vitriol, hatred, conspiracy theories, guesses, lies and pure weirdness. And those are the nice things I can say about the majority of this thread.

Perhaps look closer to home for reasons why Sydney supporters are "turning arrogant".

Yeah, AFC treated Tippett like shit - making him the highest paid player - even though his output was lower than other players.

Can Kurt possibly find any more ways of making himself more unpopular? Karma is coming your way.

If you sign a contract, you too are responsible... as is your manager, who you should be suing as your representative.

I was just thinking (a new thing for me) about how this really influences the supporters of the club. Do we equate the way our Administrators behave (badly) with the fabric of our club? Or do we actually only give a damn because it might effect our on-field performances in future years?

Sure we will get baited by other supporters as "cheats" - but if we keep playing hard tough passionate football who cares.

Come the first game of 2013, I'm pretty sure that none of this will reduce my passion for the Crows. I won't feel bad about what these Administrators did - it seems removed from the part of football that I connect with.

When I think of the AFC - I think of the players and the coach, the guys that bleed for our jumper - not of Trigg and Co.

I suppose if we go to the pack and become a rabble, we will all point back to this as the cause ... then it will be hard to separate the two.

But until then, I'm gonna put a big steel wall between them.

Has Galbally elaborated what the detriment was? I originally assumed the detriment was Tippett facing possible deregistration, but it sounds as though he's indicating that it was detrimental to Kurt before any of this broke out.

It can't be monetarily, there is no way we paid less than other clubs were offering. He received sponsorship agreements, and unless he was going to go to Collingwood, Geelong or Sydney it can't be in terms of premierships.

I can only assume that he means that it was detrimental to Kurt's mental health - that he was depressed because he was here.

It has to be a combination of info provided by the Tippett camp and a leak from the AFL.

Caro's whole presentation implies that we made the first approach on the 2nd round draft pick clearance deal, which is illogical in that the only beneficiary is Tippett. That wouldn't be coming from the AFC - just the reverse.

The worrying aspect is the AFL leaks because Caro has been publishing info on further AFL actions against the Crows, before the Crows knew about it.
