No 4. Enniskerry will most likely start pretty short in this on his last 2 wins, won pretty well last time at Cranbourne. I think No2. Tarcoola Diamond can win though very easy win 2 starts back at Sandown then 6th in the Manifold at Flemington, easier here drawn well and could get pretty good odds seeing the 2 may/ most likely will start very short. If No9. Lady Garcia ever learns to put it all together in a race could turn out to be a pretty decent horse, worth a place bet.
Tarcoola Diamond each way looks a safe bet though

No2. Lord Volksraad should win this, looks like he could become a very good racehorse. Heaps of pace in this with the likes of No 9. Koala No 11. Regicide No6. Cobamuse and also No3 Al Megdam having a lot of early pace should set it up very well for Lord Volksraad to just get the sit in behind them and be able to out sprint them in the straight. No4. Chowpie had a chance for a place at big odds nicely drawn form not as bad as it may look, with heaps of pace on could run into a place.Cobamuse won very easily at Victoria Park a few weeks back and can place here

Horrible race really, anything could win it (as is the case with all races
) No7 Work of Heart unlucky not to win last start, finished four lengths behind La Bella Dame 3 runs back, not bad form for this after the horses run on Wednesday. Will start shorter than it should with the Oliver factor but still could be a good each way bet.No4. Jameela also has good form through La Bella Dame beaten under 2 lengths making up good ground 2 runs back, not a lot of luck last start. could be a good value quinella No3 won well last start and on breeding should handle the distance without a problem.

No1 Platinum Scissors looks pretty much a good thing is the best of the sydney bunch who in turn looks lengths better then those from Melbourne. His form is outstanding No11 Soprana is the only horse i can see beating himgreat run last start gets 3.5kgs for being beaten a short neck last start. could be a sydney trifecta with No2. Maskerado unless a horse like No4. Hydromaster can run into a place.
No1. Platinum Scissors to win

And i thought the 3rd race was bad, 8 of the 15 have very good winning chances on form. All come down to who gets the best run in the race, going for a fair bit of value with No13. Paestum placed in 23 of his 26 starts which is not a bad effort been racing some pretty good horses (Mr Lofty, Ustinov) gets 2 kgs off Mr Lofty for being beaten 2 lengths last time perfectly drawn could get the run of the race. No2. Society Beau should be hard to beat, very good run in the Toorak last week any rain wont be a concern. Impossible to get any real form line on NO.8 Zvezda but has won 6 of his last 7 and been winning easily in good times of late.

Taking a formline through Defier No10. Saldago should be hard to beat here, beaten only a 13/4 lengths by Defier 2 starts back is good enough for this race. Been racing against some of the best horses in QLD and N.S.W and very competitive no weight only concern is barrier 13. No6 El Nino has a perfect record at Caulfieldand is in good form well weighted and drawn also , could be a nice quinella.No5. Prince Rubiton won well last start and races well at Caulfield

Very even field value to be had all over the place. No10 Fair Embrace is a very very good sprinter should be getting towards full fitness has great form around the likes of Spinning Hill is well drawn any rain shouldn't be a problem.No16. Planchet won very easy first up and is a high class sprinter, No13 Into the night racing great in his 3 runs from a spell could be the one to come over the top of them all No11. Zipzip aray has only had 6 starts one of them being the Goodwood before spelling first up this looks a very hard task but Oliver has taken the mount and it could be a lead.

Typical mares race total raffle, has drawn the complete outside gate but shouldn't worry the racing patten of No3. Suzi Grey has been finishing off her races realy well the last couple and getting fitter with 2 runs from a spell if get a clear run at the top of the straight has the sprint to finish all over the top of them.No7 Heptonstall ran well first up raced against some very good horses last preperation and handled it well, not badly drawn and is a good chance.No1 Hosannah did a good job winnig last time against a similar field nice draw form at the distance is 1st rate.

River Dove No9 goes well first up had some very good form round horses when last in work.Isn't badly weighted and drawn well No4 Just Devine should have won last start in a good race in Sydney,if the likes of INto the night run well in the 7th then on form alone has an excellent chance in this. No1 Golden Delicious ran well as always last start in a much better race, dropping back to mares Fillies and Mares grade will be hard to beat.
