I actually prefer going to watch neutral games in Vic as out of all the Freo games I have watched in Melbourne (over 12 years) I have seen 3, yes just three wins. It got so bad I thought I was jinxing it so stopped going.

What a bloody twat! I am not a Victorian supporter, but i Flew over for the game and I type this at an internet cafe. From the moment Barlow got his first touch the Melbourne supporters were calling him a skill less hack and other insults. I yelled out that "he is better than any of your players" and they soon shut up but that was disgraceful.

The Fremantle Football Club should be ashamed with that performance and there is no more excuses. We never turned up to play and our intensity was completely lacking. Good to see Barlow get plenty of the footy but we just didn't attac the footy and Harve's didn't make any changes and we were decimated. I am not looking forward to the flight home.

Indeed - a very very special shout-out to Seppo and the rest of the Vic cheersquad, you guys and gals were really great today. Loved the flags and chants, evenwhen we were not giving much on field we are always sure to get support from you lot!!

To the Melbourne supporter who posted that nonsense on here, there is only one club that has ever tanked for picks, and that is your club, and as a result your team will always cop it. Toughen up princess.

Oh, get your hand off it. Your crowd of 19,000 was worse than a Richmond crowd. The level of football knowledge was horrendous. It was as though half the crowd hadn't been to a game for 20 years. If our supporters cheered points, it's only because the Melbourne fans started cheering first (i.e. weren't aware that between the big one and the little one isn't a goal )

To address the topic: it was horrendous and painful, but I'll be there to see them play...St Kilda in August I can't wait!

Reg, I travel to games also and witnessed some pretty ordinary performances. Infact we have gone to QLD every year for the last 12 and our first win was against Carlton at Cararra, not even the Lions. We were also in Mel for the Hawks game which was also another shit loss, so I know how it feels to fork out a squillion and receive a load of crapolla in return. The Eastern States supporters travel also, QLD NSW and SA probably a lot more than we do and all they get served is the sharp end of the pineapple. They deserve something better.

As a member of the Cheersquad over here I have made the effort to get all te games on the eastern seaboard this season. I have been lucky to witness the round 1 win in Brissie and the two in Adeliade. In 3 years I have been livong in melbourne i have not seen a win at the MCG and it sucks now that we had 3 chances to put our hoodoo to rest and the only hames left are at Etihad.

Even though there was a small crowd there today there was a great number of freo supporters there. thanks to all that cheered on the guys no matter what the score.

Have been to nearly all Melbourne games for 10years. Only the 2nd I left early, and left this sucker at half time..for better or worse.


Just had too many guys not up to it yet, and some not AFL standard. A function of our injury list and overlooked lack of depth.

The only bright spot, thanks to the kind individual who allowed my friend and I to scan and get in for free with an AFL Members card otherwise, I'd be demanding the club pay me back for wasting my money and my time watching that shite.

I must admit, as I was sitting there watching the game, I couldn't help, but feel so sorry for the fans that flew across for the game (like many others). I've never headed west for a game at Subiaco but knowing that I'm only a train ride away from home is a little consolation.
