It's in the video.

Mills initiates contact by running into Bugg and gives him a little tap to the ribs with his forearm/elbow, he then goes to move away, as he does, he turns his head back toward Bugg, just as Bugg is lashing out with a fist. He flushes him.
You don't know that Mills initiated contact. You understand this is a contact sport right?
Just because its a contact sport doesnt mean you can just shoot someone.

He pushes off him, not he moves away.
He doesnt hit him in the ribs. If youd ever played a contact sport youd know where a rib hit is vs a bump to the chest.
His head doesnt change direction from the bump to the hit.
Buggs didnt just lash out, he aimed a jaw punch and deliberately punches him to the jaw, like a viscous thug in a pub brawl.
if this was on cctv of a guy knocking out someone who bumped into him on the dance floor, youd be screaming bloody murder. But because its a footy player againts a team you hate, its suddenly ok, and even to be expected.

your argument is literally that he should have expected a punch to the jaw for bumping in to him.

show me a single part of your post that is actually true.

So many wrong assumptions in one single post, the likes I've never seen before in 9 years on bf.

Why is it a dog act? Everyone seems to jump on this bandwagon every time something bad happens.

Mills runs in and gives Bugg a little cheapy with the forearm/elbow. Did he think Bugg was just going to cop it? He probably wasn't expecting what eventuated, but he should have paid attention and expected something back.
So Mills should have expected a punch in the face for an elbow in the chest? If that's the case it's not a cheap shot, Bugg is acting like a toddler or a drunk arseh*le at a bar. Either way he didn't act like a footballer on the field.

Thing to remember here is that the 3 monkeys on the tribunal were made to look like idiots last week. They will try and save face this week and will throw Bugg under a bus to show the world how competent they are.

Edit. Which will make them look even more incompetent.

May as well ring Gil and ask whether the number is OK before announcing it.

Who's defending him? He'll get at least the same as Houli.

If Mills just kept running past Bugg and doesn't make that little bit of contact on the way through do you think Bugg would knocked him out anyway just for shits and giggles?

For every action there's a reaction. In this case a highly disproportionate reaction but a reaction just the same.
You statements read like this
"I'm sorry I slept with your best friend but you shouldn't have been so mean to me". See the second part is you defending your actions so when you say "Mills should have expected to get punched because he pushed Bugg" your saying it's Mills' fault. IF he never pushed Bugg he never would have gotten punched, so it's Mills' fault. So yes, you are defending Bugg

Might be time to give up following footy for a few people. Telling a stranger to kill themselves because they disagreed about your player is probably suggesting something very wrong with you... probably a member of the cheer squad :D

I've never said Mills should have expected to be punched, I've said he should have expected some sort of reaction for making contact with Bugg.

You pair really need.to take a deep breath and actually read what I'm posting.

I really couldn't really care less if he gets off or gets 2 years. I'm just making comment on what I've seen.

Your right. You and Herne should stop following footy if your so obsessed about your team that your justifying knocking someone out. Or that you hate my team so much that you think its justified.
If he had landed wrong, or not been on grass, he could be dead.
But the assaulter plays for your team, so he is innocent, and the victim is the bad guy.

Time to take a step back and realise your wrong.

You should reread what you've written if you do feel Bugg took a cheap shot

Which part? I remember what I've posted, I have no emotional connection to the subject. It's a footy forum I'm commenting on an incident in a game of footy between to sides, neither of which I follow.

Why dont you just outright state that Buggs did something that is inexcusable, and that Mills is the victim?

Maybe you're right, maybe I misunderstood you but you really make little to no sense. You really should expect people to pull apart your weak arguments on an internet forum

Yeah sure, expect a push back perhaps or a little jumper pulling, you don't expect somebody to knock you out with one clean punch to the chin.

Correct. A bump back, pull the jumper, even thrown to the ground (probably give away a free), certainly not what he copped, but still, he should have expected something.

Buddy I've just read the last couple pages, you're arguing the most minute point, yes we get it, he should have expected contact back, we get it, move along and find another point to argue.

Then why the quote me and mention it?

I was getting a little tired of repeating myself to that Sydney numpty. I thought he might have got it at some stage.
