Tom Davidson Update

I just discovered that Tom Davidson has played a few games in a row in the willy 2's and has been looking tops so far. I didnt even realise he was back playing again. Anyone know what the story with him is?? Has he any chance of making the ones again this year??

Saw him play about 3 quarters in the Willi seconds... done nothing much; played from a wing... just looked like he was at half pace, not looking to be in any of the contests.
More, watching the play than anything.

Is a long, long way off....

but the positive is: his on the footy field.

Davidson kicked two goals 2 weeks ago, and last week had supposedly 20 touches in 3 quarters. I was there for the third and 4th quarters and he had probably 1 touch and was off in the 4th, so he must've dominated 1st and 2nd quarters. He looked very slow and one paced, im sure he will improve once he gets adjusted to the temp, but like others said still a LONG way off.

i thought the same thing. outplayed by his opponent for about a half of footy late in the game before being dragged. he may have the ability may but on current form should not be moving into the willy firsts. best of luck for the rest of the season.

I heard he has lost a yard or so in pace, can track watchers confirm?

Knee injury and achillies injury would have affected many muscles in his body. The obvious one are his legs (ie. not enough run in them) and his heart/aerobic capacity. He must have had a good first half and then been completely stuffed.

Our list has so many passengers, he's practically guaranteed another chance. Would be nice to see him not be injured and start improving. He is only 22!
