With the threat of free agency on the horizon and a poor 2017 do the dogs cash in?

I think the following would work for both clubs:

North: dalhaus, liberatore, pick 26
Western: pick 4

If it's not ticked off i could see goldstein or daw added to get it over the line.

Quite simply he is our 2nd best player and comfortably so. His shit 2017 is an anomoly in an otherwise impeccable and consistent career (on the ground at least). What he did in the 2016 finals series was the stuff of legend - almost on his own dominating the GWS midfield in the PF and then annihilating Josh Kennedy in the 2nd half of the GF when Kennedy had one hand on the Norm Smith at half time.

He is a jet and a must-keep for mine. Especially now when he is at his lowest trade value.

No thanks.
Our midfield is already full of vanilla plodders.

No, the following would not work for both clubs. Move along now, North aren't getting anyone good this year.

Probably the worst trade I have seen on here in a long time.

I rate him. Love him at geelong. In libba out blicavs or menegola. Would take a first round pick to get it done though

What is so bad about it?

Two of our most important mids at a decent age, whom are both contracted AND our second round pick. For pick 4. Do you really think we will trade all 3 of Stringer, Libba and Dahlhaus? That's what is so bad about it.

But i read there is inner turmoil at your club. Sometimes to repair you need to cleanse the club of the trouble makers. Pick 4 is good value.

I'm assuming this is the 'Make up a dumb as dog shit trade deal' hypothetical so I'll tweak it a bit

North get: Libba, Second Rounder 2018
Dogs get: Brown, Cunnington, Pick 4

Dal needs a fresh start and Libba would probably enjoy heading back to North where his fathers career started.

There's no point trading pick 4 this year however, that won't get it done.

They are both out of contract restricted free agents at the end of 2018, so we should hold off until then and pick them up for nothing.
