Have to disagree here. IMO I thought he was far too slow and certainly not worth a 1st round pick. He's also getting more of a go as they don't have a key forward. Wouldn't be kicking so many if Walker was playing and even less if Tippett was still at the club.

From memory Adelaide had convinced him to leave before Scott started, damage already done.

Good for him, had we been a little more patient through his health issues.

Usually as a defensively minded forward, actually I think annually on Dustin Fletcher...he had no chance.

Someone dig up the "convince me Tom Lynch isn't completely useless" thread, no one picked this turnaround to a competent forward. He wasn't much of an AFL player here, apparently capital lazy, but he never really showed signs either (except for VFL, but lets be real, Tommy Walsh did too) although I thought he should've been had a more consistent run in the backline, but as fate has it he's producing the goods as a forward where he'd get towelled up 100% of the time for us! Good on him for what he's producing now but I'm not crying as I can live with Jack Newnes just fine!

VFL development was a disaster for him. We had Nick Sautner ( Captain ) in the forward line , and if you think the Saints are Riewoldt centric ..... You couldn't drop the captain to develop a Saints player , so Saints player gets played in the backline, but when called up for AFL played as a forward.

Let's look at Tom Lynch shall we? He can mark but he is not a great kick and he is really slow. He's too short to be a KPF and too slow to be a flanker. Not worth the pick he was taken at and the recruiter who took him was sacked the following year. Very happy with the player we got with the draft pick we grabbed from you which our current recruiter used.

So you are left with a painfully slow forward who probably won't get much of a look in once Walker is back. He will become a list clogger. Most people are glad he's gone - doesn't fit in with our game plan.

You should probably stop taking those non prescription drugs as they are not doing you any favours!!

thats cute. tom lee just kicked two in a shit team, in only his 5th game. his first 5 games have netted:
Round 3: 1 goal
Round 5: 0 goals
Round 15: 3 goals 1
Round 16: 3 goals 3
Round 17: 2 goals

all whilst carrying a number of leg injuries, having an interrupted pre-season and adjusting to the rigors of the AFL in his first season

sure beats lynch!!!!!

Wow so much hate for Lynch. Not sure why hes been compared to Tom Lee here but he has been a far better player this year than Lee has. He may not be the fastest player, or the tallest but he gets possesions, has a large tank, and kicks lots of goals. Thats kinda the aim last time I checked.
Sorry to see so many people here who hate an ex player whos finding him form at another club. I hope Tom Lee does well been a delisted Crows player and all.

its not a case of not wanting him to do well, i just dont see him being a great AFL player

i'd take lee over lynch during any trade/draft

just compare their VFL/WAFL stats
