couple of things that could've went either way and went against us, could be ever closer at three quarter time. skills went up a notch that quarter but still not nearly good enough. yes we're in the game but imagine if judd and cousins were there, we're having enough trouble just trying to hold kerr. can't really see a win here but the guys have shown some grit and in that aspect im pretty pleased.
tambling needs to realise he can do things like that goal ALL THE TIME if he wants to.

jeez i love the bloke but we honestly could have stolen a win if richo had kicked those two goals.we had all the momentum at that stage.

jeez we had a good chance to snatch a great win tonight - but some basic skill and decision errors cost us.

still, happy with the effort and heart of the boys - they were missing some top players - but we went in to the game with one very young ruckman - and a young squad - we fought it out and i'm proud of the effort but disappointed in the goal kicking and result.

his first half wasn't great - disgusting is a bit strong - his second half was very good i thought, especially for a young boy obviously lacking confidence - robert walls love's pointing out his errors a little too much for my liking

There was times in the match that i thought "gee all richmond need is a bit of inspiration and no umpiring mistakes" and then brown misses a running goal. and the umpires are ****ing morons.

To go on top of that, those dirty weagle drop kicks were as dirty as ever. Im glad jackson fired back, and im glad king hit whoever it was in the face. Spiteful? maybe? do it care? no?

Saying this, richmonds skill levels were very very average.

We would have won if people could kick straight in front of goal. I dont care about richos 14 marks. i care about the goals he kicks.... and he does it very badly.

Well, I know one thing for sure after tonight's match. That is, the average WCE fan is a neanderthal that takes following your team to a whole new level. From throwing objects at our players down the race to hurling records over the fence, as pathetic as booing every single Richmond shot at goal to singing along with the inane "SGIO go eagles go" this bunch of classless fools behave like trained monkeys. I'd describe their "club" more like a corporation. A corporation that endorses drug taking, with Ben Cousins and ketamine Kerr. I'm glad I support a club that I have pride in, through thick and thin.

Did anyone else notice foley early in the first quarter, I thought I saw him cop a hit and was a little wobbly getting up. Just wondering if that's why he was off and with the trainer for a bit?

As much as Tambling frustrates me for his work ethic at times, he frustrates me even more when you get glimpses of how good he can be.

Hopefully next year abit more maturity and another preseason will bring better consistency.

Fair enough Brownys was easy though.
