Just wanted to let you all know as a very proud melbourne supporter that i can sense something special happening tonight. It feels like its the start of something big. Tonight's forward line on paper looks rather damaging. Yes, some of our outs are disappointing (though i am pretty sure Ryder inevitably is in for a big night hit out wise anyway), but something about the big stage on a friday night gives me the feeling that Melbourne are pumped for tonight. Especially after the much talked about let down on queens.

I think it will be a very open game, and hopefully fast paced. I am expecting some very memorable moments and am going to ethiad tonight with only excitement and anticipation pumping through my blood.

Hope every Melbourne supporter with out a reasonable excuse gets down to support them tonight.

I am not expecting us to do well. It would be silly to expect a win. I am just excited about our future and would not be a little bit surprised if we won tonight

Unfortunatley I have to work tonight, which means i won't be able to go to the match and will miss half of it on t.v :thumbsd:. While I dont expect us too win tonight I expect us to be really competitive and 10 times better than we were against collingwood, Should be a really open fast paced match and will give Watts more of an oppurtunity to show us what he's like on the lead. Also very excited about the JURRAHCANE :D

Painful. Pounding headache. Sweating one minute, shivering the next.

thats rubbush mate, hope ya get better soon!

there is an upside- if u can muster the energy go to the collingwood game, cough and sneeze everywhere, and see how many scumbags you can infect! :thumbsu:

Certainly hope so. I'll be very happy if Miller does stand up for us physically tonight...

Well, I think you're wrong about Miller's past record in this area DR, but regardless, I'd love it if he gets stuck in that way tonight. It'd send a great message about his own intent and commitment to better himself on the field as well.

Not Millers thing??? What is his thing then, if not his presence? also remember what unintentionally to Tom Lonergan ...

It's not really Miller's thing, but wouldn't it be great if he actually initiated the aggression big time??.. A line in the sand statement....We might be young but don't try to push us around......

rewind the clock 5 or so years when miller was a youngster brimming with potential (oh so long ago and a distant memory)- miller was laying hip and shoulders left right and centre, and along with neitz created a dangerous experience for opposition backmen who WOULD think twice about backing into a pack. Granted it was mainly Neitz but miller through his weight around a fair bit. He can still do it he's not a small bloke!

I've got a feeling that this match will be similar to the corresponding one 2 years ago. A free flowing game and an exciting finish, hopefully we'll be on the right side of it this time!!! :D

Good luck Dee's.
Here's hoping for an upset win.:thumbsu:

Best of luck to Jurrah, If he plays.
