That wouldn't cause a meltdown...and we would surely be after pick 1 or 2 to get Weitering if we are going to sell the farm.

It was a little tongue in cheek about the players that divide opinion on here.

IMHO, if the high pick we're chasing doesn't net us Weitering, I don't see the point.

Agree with you and Mutt above - but Carlton aren't giving up Weitering. Their rebuild starts with him. No point trying to take short cuts when they are in the position they are in.... So rule him out of any discussions, which is why I suggested Francis - is he a suitable alternative that might be obtainable ?

Unfortunately he's only around the 190cm mark and not suited to the bigger forwards. Schache towelled him up. I rate him, but I'm not sure paying a high price for this type of player is the way to go.

Thanks, wasn't sure on his size but had heard good things about him... And agree, if he's more a third tall, unless we have another trick up our sleeves, we probably need to look elsewhere....

Well here's a way to trade our 2nd rd pick, Talia and Hrovat for P9...

Hrovat for Dees 2nd over his value IMO but overs as he is contracted..

Our 2nd rd and above 2nd rd to Syd. Jetta to WC and WC 1st to us...everyone following??

Talia to Adelaide and their 4th rd to Geelong. The WC 1st rd from above we on trade to Geelong for P9...why? P9 is overpaying by Geelong for Henderson. Our WC pick is closer in value, and Carlton can on trade that pick for Carlisle, so they wouldn't care as it's 1st rd and screws a powerless Ess. Geelong do the unfavourable deal to square off Adelaide so they don't match RFA on Danger for a pick they'd lose for Hendo anyway.

Everyone wins except Ess.
