First round pick names his new home; ticking clock has Brisbane shock looming: Trade WhispersTanner Bruhn has nominated Geelong not surprised never seen a kid look so disappointed on draft night
Exactly. The experiment hasn’t worked and it’s only benefiting a handful of powerhouse clubs. Then where would Richmond, Carlton, Geelong and Collingwood develop their players?

Ha I love how in the same article that states Tanner Bruhn has nominated Geelong, they apply the logic that Dunkley must have picked Brisbane and can't say anything because they are playing finals.
My take is there are a lot of balls in the air in this trade period and until some of them start coming down clubs, players and managers won't know the full lay of the land. If Dunkley wants maximum $$$ he is likely waiting for Essendon to get a coach and a few other players to start moving around to see who else might throw their hat in the ring. He may even be holding out to try to bluff us into a bigger contract.
It’s actually impossible to have proper discussion with somebody who is so very negative. Good god.You absolutely do get to choose these things though. Don't lowball JJ and Wallis and I'm sure they'll stay.
I expect that our offseason will be just that. We will lose Dunkley, JJ and possibly Hunter. We will bring in a 32 year old Jones off a year out of AFL football and Lobb on decent coin for far too long. We will make a show of trying to land others but none will come to fruition like Soldo, Wingard, Martin, Lever, May, etc before them. Then we'll hit the draft with some magic beans and an AFL average recruiter hoping for something decent.
I hope I'm wrong but this is how I see the club's future.
I have no idea what those first two sentences mean.If you said that about Daisy Thomas but not anyone that says we don’t need Lobb.
Eade knows the capability of Darcy or JUH having coached them at scotch. Whilst I know Darcy isn’t ready yet, recruiting a forward/ruck probably means they could never play together in the same forward line
Here ya answer:Does warren Tredrea have a long history of head injuries?

Not negative. Realistic. It’s actually impossible to have proper discussion with somebody who is so very negative. Good god.
The longer Dunks leaves it without letting anyone know his intentions, there are 2 results. So tanner bruhn has requested a trade to the cats who are still playing in the finals. What’s stopping Dunkley
I guess that brings port back into the picture thenThe longer Dunks leaves it without letting anyone know his intentions, there are 2 results.
The first is he gets more attention, media coverage and presumably traffic on his podcasts/social media.
The second is that any interested parties may add a little extra onto whatever offers he has in front of him,
Either way that's a win for Josh
Plus it's still 3 weeks until he can actually be traded. The longer Dunks leaves it without letting anyone know his intentions, there are 2 results.

I don't see why it is agonizing. He was always leaving at the end of the year. Nothing has changed.Plus it's still 3 weeks until he can actually be traded.
Agonising for supporters haha.
When did his last request come? Iirc it was a day or so into the trade period?
Wallis maybe, if he's on a 1 year contract. You absolutely do get to choose these things though. Don't lowball JJ and Wallis and I'm sure they'll stay.

Never going to happen, as we all know it’s all about the extra moolah from the broadcasting rights - hence GWS and Gold Coast to give an extra game each week.
You missed the last quarter of the final and he definitely took some of the ruck contests vs HawthornI don’t recall Darcy playing as ruck, but I could be mistaken. I haven’t counted when a forward or defender takes a throw in or ball up at their end.
Media is saying he will nominate Geelong, but he hasn't offficially done it yet.First round pick names his new home; ticking clock has Brisbane shock looming: Trade Whispers

Professionalism. So tanner bruhn has requested a trade to the cats who are still playing in the finals. What’s stopping Dunkley
I don't agree with your premise.Wallis maybe, if he's on a 1 year contract.
As for JJ, what's your definition of a lowball offer? If he played for free next year he would still be averaging upwards of $550k per season over a 6 year period. Throughout that time, he's averaged about 3 good games per season and spent time in the magoos.
Maybe he hasn't made up his mindSo tanner bruhn has requested a trade to the cats who are still playing in the finals. What’s stopping Dunkley
