Yes cos Stringer has a premiership medal too

Works if you can afford to bring in a specialist coach to help keep him focused as Cats did with EddieHope next time someone says we have a no dickheads policy they take note of Stengle.
Some dickheads are absolutely worth the risk
First you have too convince that quality player to nominate you. We don't have that cachet of the big clubs to get that too happen. The Geelong experience proves that if you want to improve as a team you need to trade in players of the highest calibre with excellent skills, not journeymen, fringe players or stop gaps. Not easy to achieve but that's the blueprint.

I'm sure it's not as bad as it seems, but outside looking in feels like we're under resourced at the moment.
When you look at what you've mentioned above.
Swans (even though they got pumped) have Horse & Pyke in the box.
Demons rolling Goodwin, Richo & Williams.
Early days in the off season but I hope like hell we're sorting it out in a big way otherwise it could be another wasted year next year.
Completely and utterly butchered our soft cap.
It does not help regarding the soft cap rules when your senior coach is I e if the highest paid AFL coaches in the AFL

Also you’re better off playing a small who can run on Cameron than a tall who gets burnt up the ground. Robbie Fox one of very few who can hold his head up high.I guess the thing I take from the Cats’ flag that may be applicable to us is to not rule a line through potential additions because they’re approaching 30. Obviously that doesn’t mean any old player in that age bracket, but players like Lobb and Jones that have demonstrated they can be elite and will improve upon our best 22 should be welcome additions.
Absolutely need someone who can match Cameron in covering the ground. He isn't a huge contested mark if you can stay with him and put some body heat on him he can be somewhat blunted. Also you’re better off playing a small who can run on Cameron than a tall who gets burnt up the ground. Cameron had 18, 2 goals 1, 8 marks and 8 score involvements. Not sure you could consider that a win for Fox.
In other words a dickhead. He’s not necessarily a dickhead . He had a tough upbringing . Removed by social services from his parents, brought up by his kin & then his mum died at a young age .
He went off the rails as a young fella but it’s great to see him given a second chance . He’s incredibly talented . A good news story in a tough week for the Indigenous community .
Cameron kicked both of his goals in junk time in the 4th qtr. One of which was a handball recieve. Fox was pretty decent and probably only one of 3 players that can hand up and say I played alright. Rowbottom and Warner the others.
I thought Hickey was the Swans best. Very few mates though. Reid a horrible selectionCameron kicked both of his goals in junk time in the 4th qtr. One of which was a handball recieve. Really? Hickey was awful and Hawkins overpowering him twice in the first quarter for goals set up the whole day for the Swans.I thought Hickey was the Swans best. Very few mates though. Reid a horrible selection
I think in assessing Fox’s game we need to give him credit for the number of times ( and the time) the ball spent in Geelong’s forward line. Not sure how many forward entries Geelong had or the season average but Fox did well under difficult conditions.Cameron had 18, 2 goals 1, 8 marks and 8 score involvements. It's an interesting strategy. I do remember Easton Wood blanketing Buddy one game, so mobile talls who are probably better runners than contested narks can be played that way. Also you’re better off playing a small who can run on Cameron than a tall who gets burnt up the ground.
