If they were wearing our colours and did what they did, they'd already be suspended, and the penalty increased on appeal!
This will start some shit but watching last night and how impactful Darcy Moore was and has been for the whole season leaves you to wonder how good and influential Naughton could be if he was sent back. I don’t understand why Bevo is so steadfast with this or even the refusal to use him as a genuine swing man.
Naughton isn’t a Moore clone. They are very different players. No point looking at Naughton moving back, he is a forward now, rather than a defender.
Better to look at our FS this year in Croft. He could become a good KPD, although he may want to be a KPF or Ruck.
Why no point? If the option is to send him back if needed or Lobb he should be the one every time,
He is a solid KPF but he isn't a 60+ a year guy that you wouldn't entertain moving back again.
He has very similar attributes to Moore physically so it isn't the worst comparison, Go back and watch some of his first year highlights and you will see it

I don't want to see Naughton be a 45 - 55 goals per season goal kicker as he is better than that.
I want Naughton to be a 65 + goal kicker
To do that he needs to fix his kicking for goal, needs to continue to develop as a forward, club needs to get the right people to develop him as a forward and above all the club needs to get structure and ball movement to a level where we play to Naughton strengths.
Naughton in a good structure could be impossible to play against.
I really believe he is the type of player that can be impossible to stop in the right structured forward line.

His field kicking isn’t anywhere close to Moores.
I still think he would make an a grade defender, but unfortunately why bevo is at the club I can’t see us ever rolling him back.

In the modern game, very few forwards can take a genuine pack mark. Naughton is one of them. The trouble is even he can only take 2 or 3 a game. Also, his set shot accuracy is questionable. We are screaming out for a gun KPD. Any decent coach would have tried this already.

Dogs emerge as frontrunner for pick 4
Western Bulldogs ruck Jordon Sweet is happy to wait until the end of the VFL finals to assess his options, despite being offered a two-year deal by the Bulldogs.
It comes as the Dogs emerge as an early favourite to trade up to the Suns’ pick 4 with their offer of picks 10 and 17.
Melbourne also has a strong proposal with their first-rounder and two second-rounders, with both offers handing the Suns an extra 500 points for their academy picks.
But the Suns could trade back to 10 and 17 from pick 4 then field offers for pick 10, so could make even more of a windfall on the deal to accrue points.

The two-year deal for Sweet has been in front of him for some time.
But not only is Tim English in career-best form, there is a chance Sam Darcy will eventually turn into a ruckman, who can play at either end.
West Coast is one of the clubs interested in Sweet but consider the turbulence in the ruck market.
Those with uncertain futures include Sean Darcy, Ivan Soldo, Scott Lycett, Matt Flynn, Brynn Teakle, Sam Hayes, Sweet and Todd Goldstein, who has been linked to Essendon.
Dogs utility Taylor Duryea should get another deal but the Dogs still have to make decisions on Hayden Crozier, Buku Khamis, Roarke Smith and Toby McLean.
McLean has real talent and is an unrestricted free agent, while Tim O’Brien will likely get another one-year deal.
