There are no other scenarios that fit.
Midfield- given they brought in some key players, missed aspects of the draft due to Marra and Darcy, will focus on getting players with run and speed to boost the midfield rotation

So who's realistically available to us that'll bring run and speed into the midfield?

Good shout, I’d be very interested. Seems unlikely thoughVery unlikely but they should get in Nobles ear so see if he's open to a move it after being dropped for finals. Would be a great Duryea replacement
If we do happen to get Wilson I hope he can follow a McCluggage trajectory.Darcy Wilson. If we trade up, Colby McKercher.
I wouldn't mind the Wilson combo and pair Darcy and Billy. If we do happen to get Wilson I hope he can follow a McCluggage trajectory.
He’s being dropped because Melbourne match up well against Collingwood, he has been down on form but Melbourne also have the players to expose the Pies if they play both Noble and Quaynor and others all at once in the side.Very unlikely but they should get in Nobles ear so see if he's open to a move it after being dropped for finals. And Noble himself would not even be entertaining for one second to leave the club because of it.I think it's a very interesting move tbh. According to AFL.com, Noble has played the last 83 games, which is the seventh longest streak in the comp. He'll have played Melbourne and other decent/similar teams several times during that stretch obviously, and has kicked an important goal or two as well as launched their transition from defense pretty well. I think he's a better defender than Markov and he'll feel pretty stiff to miss out.
It might not work, but it's the type of ballsy move that a confident, high-performing coach makes to try and either match up well against the strengths of an individual opponent or to shake up a team that has been underperforming by their own high standards in the last third of the season. I'm pretty jealous right now because I can't imagine that happening at my club.
That Sammy Power is one of the best at giving away nothing at all. What did you take out of Sammy powers interview on gettable today?
100% would do it.Sam Mclour think hawthorn is willing to give pick 3 for Bailey Smith
Would we do it?
And grab McKercher with the pick?
Could mean we grab the Tassie kids, McKercher and sanders (GC pick)

Something that I've always wondered is if we could have held off signing players like Poulter, O'Donnell and Williams till after the draft to keep their list spots open?
I guess if it was an option the club would do it

So we can use more picks to match a bid on Croft. I was only wondering if we could have waited till after the draft to promote him to the senior list. It would have meant nothing different contract wiseWhy would we keep JOD's list spot open when's pretty much jumped into #2 KPD on our list, even if it was an option? He deserves to be elevated from Cat B, and well before the draft.
