Yeah we know how to make sure stars like Bont get well remunerated, while still being able to keep our up and coming stars. Prudently only offering Silvagni what he was worth shows that.

Is that when you accrue so many trash players that you pay them all way more than they deserve upfront in the hopes of saving salary cap to recruit star players in the future but then the star players don't want to join anyway so you spend it all on middling players and never get any higher than midtable before the cycle starts again?

Your paying a guy who failed medicals at other clubs, who has played 29 games in 4 years almost 900k a season.

Insanity, no other way to spin it. Bank all the cap you want, and spend it wisely to pick up proven talent, not the son of a list manager who can barely play 10 games a year, you guys are getting fleeced and I'd be asking questions as to why.
