The talk is generally that everyone hates him and a few people think he's better than Brock.

Don't want to lose pick 6 and don't want to lose Jaksch either.
Has he really come out and said that he wants us? or was it Rogers just saying that he has "indicated" he would like to join us?
If we were to give up a pick that high for Jaksch, I would want their end of 1st and start of second thrown in. Maybe we would need to give up our mid second to them for that to happen
 
Am so glad Higgins isn't in the mix.
Funnily enough when it was first rumoured he was leaving the kennel I knew for some bizarre reason he'd be immediately linked to Carlton.
They must have worked out we don't need another fringe player who can't get his own ball.
I'm thinking a Lucas & back in the dark old days a Troy Longmuir.They promise so much & never deliver.

Jones is worthy of chance if he's cheap enough as he does potentially fit a need and the same may be said for Tutt, given his pace.

every move is a gamble and you don't know how it will work out. All i'm saying is, is that some people think that if a player doesn't make it at one club, they think he is no good but as history has shown us, players have made a habit of being far better at their next club than the original as long as they have the right coach

Wouldn't have been upset if we'd snaffled him though. My first reaction was No but he does have something to offer, just doubtful whether he will ever deliver.
 
Considering our interest in players like Membrey, Jaksch, Jones and Tutt, does that not make it essential to ship out Robinson, Garlett, maybe Lucas as soon as possible in the week?

There'll be competition for Membrey/Jaksch and you'd assume, if our interest holds in Jones and Tutt, they'd both require 3rd and 4th round picks respectively.

Therefore we'll need to consolidate on draft picks. Can't see GWS and especially not Sydney being interested in straight player swaps with Robbo or Garlett.

This would be the attraction for Mick (vs what we currently have in the small forward dept).

If Garlett goes we have possible replacements in this guy and Saad and tbh one of the biggest knocks on jeff, even when he was going well was inconsistency.

Just saw a facebook trade page throw up a trade of our pick 26 for Tutt and Jones.

Please don't allow two fringe players equal a 2nd rounder. That's like us chucking Robinson and Lucas for pick 25 from the Dogs. Even then Robinson has done more than both Tutt and Jones combined.

IMO it won't happen. Jones for a 3rd said Rogers. And Tutt isn't a high priority.

Would sending six to gws in exchange for kj and a later pick which we could send to swans for Membrey work? KJ and Membrey for pick 6?
