Not every chance. There's a little chance he does that. I think it's a safe bet that he'll be the highest ever paid wafl player next season. I say 15 games min of WAFL barring injury. He could probably pay the match payments for East Perth and the 22 blokes he plays each week and still walk away as the highest paid WAFL player. FML.
Have you had lunch yet?

Have something to eat and come back.

If McKenzie sits in the WAFL, I agree that it would have been great to unload him to get rid of the cap space etc. But at what price? If we were only going to get an average pick and have to pay part of his salary because no club was willing to take him on that salary, then there is no real benefit in getting rid of him. I also think he can get back to pre-knee reco form and even if he is now sitting behind McGovern and Barrass, he provides fantastic depth. It may be expensive depth but if we were going to have to pay part of his salary anyway then there may not have been much benefit to a trade. That said, he is too good a player (assuming he gets back into form) to waste in the WAFL and hence why a trade may have been good for him if he was willing. But as he wasn't, that's pretty much the end of it. He was contracted after all.

Now is the perfect time to play two cement trucks at the fall. I'd back one of Priddis or Mitchel to get first hands 60-70% of every stoppage and Priddis is also the best tackler in the competition - good luck winning clean breaks! Reminds me of the Ratten / Williams dynamic during Carltons great era in the mid 90's with Gaff our Bradley and Shuey our Kouta X factor..
Half a chance of working with NN rucking,

I don't consider him a pure tall forward. Don't really know what he is just yet and despite the club showing enough faith in him to extend his contract into 2018 I'm not convinced he's going to make it

Still has plenty of time to develop so I hope I'm wrong - he's a fantastic kick at goal especially from around 50
Nice hands on the lead and makes good decisions under pressure

Mackenzie
Barras. Schofield 3rd
Lycett
Gov. Darling 3rd
Kennedy

Vardy on the bench
Giles/McInnes/draftee as back up
Obviously can be shuffled but is a bloody good set of big men. I don't think there's a better spine in the league tbh maybe GC go close.

Because he was contracted? Because he won the club champion award two years ago and is coming back from a knee injury? Because there's every chance he might find his pre-knee form?

Plus what KOKO said?

I would like to see us play Eric at CHF. He is quick off the mark, good over head and has a decent kick on him (over distance). He also knows how to apply defensive pressure. If he is successful there it will have a twofold effect -
1) It will free up Jack to play as the 3rd tall (and take the third best back); and
2) Make him a more versatile player and "commodity".

Tunbridge has got the goods, just needs a fit body to go with it!
Not convinced we couldn't get more from a draftee, and more likelihood that they won't have a body made of glass.

Seriously, we lol'd at Freo's list cloggers and joke that Mayne leaving the side is helping them, but then defend Tunbridge's ability to take a spot on the list to show microscopic hints of promise in between getting injured. He's 24 early next season, has a bit of talent but reckon we'd be better off taking a punt in the rookie draft.

This is Mackenzie turning around in the forward 50

Where did you come up with the conclusion he is good at applying defensive pressure? You'd arguably find it easier to sidestep Mackenzie than Giles these days. If he can provide an overhead target up forward then that's great, but he'd be a liability the minute the ball hit the deck.

So you're saying he could not defend with the ball coming from our full forward line? He could not man up or out mark his direct opponent or bring the ball to the ground to our advantage? How the f*** did he ever become an AA defender?

What i would like to see round 1

Barrass - Emac - Wellingham
Hurn - Gov - Shep
Gaff - Mitchell - Jetta
Darling - Vardy - Redden
Lecras - Kennedy - Cripps

Lycett - Priddis - Shuey

I/C Schofield - Sheed - Yeo - Duggan

Vardy to chop out the ruck.

Won't happen though, Masten and probably Butler will get in.

He's never been an AA defender.

And i'm sorry, i just figured "defensive pressure" meant chasing and tackling when he doesn't have the ball. Not manning up.

If that's the case Marsden is a defensive pressure specialist, he usually mans the mark after being pinged holding the ball.

To be fair eMac was good enough to be an AA defender a few seasons ago. I am not sure how he goes in our defensive structure now, it is quite different since 2014. Maybe we will change it for next year.

Honestly I can't see eMac being chf. I wouldn't trust him to kick for goal.
