How do you propose we fit 4 kpd into the team then? Because if we can't then of course one of them will have to play in the WAFL

It depends how we go about our set ups. Many things could change next year especially with the addition of Mitchell and possibly his thoughts and ideas. Wellingham might end up back as an outside mid, Mcgovern could end up forward. Schofield I see as a running half back more than a kpd.
The other thing is how we have been defending by zoning off our man does not work when it comes to the crunch time of the year, you can't give good players in finals time and space. Lock down defence works better and I think we will see more of this next year which brings Mckenzie back into his element.

If all 4 are purely being touted just as Backs then yes one will miss out.

You will all be VERY surprised with who we get next this trade period..

Where was the link in this delicious clickbait?

Rumour file said Mason Cox spotted at Rotto on the weekend. That's as west as you can get.

Lock in it boys.. 2 cox one club

West CoastSpit Roast Eagles?

Yes, but pick 7 is no where near pick 3 even in an even draft. And yes they got hill, but pick 23 is just about exactly where I'd want to have another pick in the draft

Pick 7 will still get them someone decent i.e. SPS, Tim English, Logue etc.

If it's an even draft than it's still pretty close...

Your logic is strange.

I dislike the club and its supporters as much as anyone, however you'd be hard pressed to say they haven't done very well this trade period.

Interesting to see if it all comes together for them in 2017.

GWS themselves wouldn't do that one, they'd need points to match bids for their academy boys
Who will be bidding?

GWS have picks 2 3 and will get 5 from Carlton.

Most of the top picks are with academy teams and Essendon wont bid pick 1.

Academy kids wont cost much this year as GWS has been very clever.

It's two boys isn't it? One they get with two, they have either 5 or a teens pick coming for Marchbank, they'll be fine.

Top 8 for sure, especially with Fyfe and Bennell back and something resembling a forward line.

Pavlich was pretty bloody good , difficult to replace in any forward line let alone a Ross lyon coached forward line .

Reckon Freo have done well though , but finishing as low as they did makes trading and compensation picks all the easier and betterer.

They only have pick 2 not 3, and have traded for pick 2 so they get to use it on a player before matching bids. Carlton don't want to give up their first for Marchbank - they've stated that. And they'll have to match for Setterfield (rated quite highly), Perryman and Mutch. Will still take a fair bit to match all the bids if they want to keep them - wouldn't be surprised to see a bid inside pick 10 for Setterfield.

Why are the moderators on here often some of the biggest smart asses?

How does Mitchell coming in - as great as it is - give us more draft picks in a strong draft?

Are you happy for us to have potentially one live pick in the first 70 picks (after using picks for Waterman and Mitchell)?

Are you happy for one of Mackenzie, Barrass or Schofield to play large portions of the season in the WAFL?
It is part of the criteria for the job. How else are they going to deal with some of the cranks that post here. Smartarse comebacks and putdowns are effective weapons.

Tough gig, no doubt.
