hey guys since we have lost 3 kp defenders we are ion the lookout for a big backman.I believe that Eric Mackenzie is open to moving back to Victoria and Mitch Brown although i would prefer to do a deal for Mackenzie Brown is always injured not of any use to us.

I believe one of our younger backmen Jono Marsh unfortuntely for us he is seeking a trade back to WA.......Would you guys trade BARRAS FOR MARSH AND A LATE PICK?

What would be a win win trade on any of the names mentioned ?

Yeah I like that idea but I'm also a tad torn with the idea. Early indication is that next year's draft will have good kpp stocks and I would really like us to get a kpf or two and develop them for a few years so they can eventually take over from jk.

Hopefully we can offload Eric for a mid second rounder and mastos for a late second rounder.

Well that's mature, of course they can play that's why they are there. That's the process. If recruiters can't work out if a player has athletic talent by watching them play then they ain't very bright.
But each to his own and good for you if you get excited about how high some kid can jump or how fast they can run, I would rather know how many times they can hit a target by foot or hand. But that's just me.

Let me preface this by saying I know very little about the combine, the recruitment process etc. As you say, I would think most recruiters are at the combine not to see how fast a bloke can run or how high they jump, but to eyeball the draftees, interview them/have a chat, get a feel for how they handle certain situations, observe their body language etc, look at their kicking, handballing actions, if they haven't seen it already. All the stuff you can't get off the raw stats sheet.

Ideally we keep next years 2nd rounder and trade Masten, but if rumors are true, he doesn't want to be traded

He also squashed the Goldstein rumour. He basically said they needed to do a massive amount of planning to get him in the door, which they didn't do, hence its not happening.
