Not convinced we couldn't get more from a draftee, and more likelihood that they won't have a body made of glass.

Seriously, we lol'd at Freo's list cloggers and joke that Mayne leaving the side is helping them, but then defend Tunbridge's ability to take a spot on the list to show microscopic hints of promise in between getting injured. He's 24 early next season, has a bit of talent but reckon we'd be better off taking a punt in the rookie draft.

Hopefully Tunbridge won't break this year and we can at least see if there is anything more to him than promising glimpses.

If that's the case Marsden is a defensive pressure specialist, he usually mans the mark after being pinged holding the ball.

Would not hurt to try him there pre-season ....... the Brown to ruck trial was never going to work. I still am confused with the "logic" behind that!

If it's the first part thats a serious waste of 600k this year. Even if he gets good by seasons end we should let him walk and use his and LeCras salary to sign some of our youngsters and get a big fish.

Anything on bigfooty thats more than 3 games ago is ancient history and inadmissible in any discussion. Emac was still recovering from an acl - ergo thats how he will always play and always has played until he strings 3 great afl games together. Yeah that article in the west was a little weird. Mark Duffield wrote it so it has credibility but most of the comments were written as direct quotes but not the Petrie stuff

Not so sensible post. What happens if Lycett's knee flares up, Giles' game vs Crows was a one off and Vardy gets injured. All are likely. Better to have something than nothing. We'll just be back here in 12 months time lamenting another what-if season.

Mate, if we're down to Petrie to save us from another 'what-if' season, let's be honest, our season has already descended in to 'WTF' not so much 'what-if'?

No matter how good all four KPDs are playing, you cannot play 4. Our run and carry off half back is so important and losing that drive off half back by having 4 KPDs in would be so detrimental to the team. IMO you either have 2 or 3 KPDs and a running half back that can play tall if required (Shep).

When this was first proposed and Vosso didn't knock it on the head I honestly thought he was just being respectful to a just-finished champion.

Now this garbage about him being rookied. The only club he could possibly go to is us AND the fact he hasn't come out and retired has me nervous. Very nervous.

Yeah I asked during the week what they were doing with Brown, they said it was up to him as a free agent, I said free agency was over so they deleted their previous tweet. (After acknowledging they were wrong, at least).
