Didn't want to comment on Johnston, said he'd rather not just for the moment. Was later asked what kind of player Johnston was. You could just tell that he was thinking 'how can I answer without sounding interested in him?' In that end it was futile.

Confirmed that we had done a medical on Jenkins. Said other clubs were interested in him as well.

Said Tippett would not be traded.

Commented on Lynch. Optimistic. Said we had been tracking him much of the year.

Maybe not that good but I think that in a new environment with more opportunities he could be pretty good. Still pretty young and it often takes rucks a few years to really develop. From Queensland so he might be good friends with Tippo (also a basketballer). We could be getting another steal here boys if he get him for less than a 2nd round Pick!

Not really, started playing footy at a young age. In his teens he chose to have a go a basketball (played with the Townsville Crocs or something). Following this he was scouted by Essendon. Played relatively well in the VFL this year. Moves around the ground well. Will be amped if we get him on the cheap. This trade period is shaping up to be a major success

I’m a centre half-forward who can play a lead-up role and also kick a few goals.

Strengths?
My marking and kicking are definitely my strengths. My speed isn’t too bad either – I'm pretty fast.

Weaknesses?
My weakness is my defensive side. I need to chase better and do a few more one-percenters.

Which AFL club do you support?
I’ve always supported Collingwood.

Which AFL player do you most resemble?
The clubs haven’t compared me with anyone, they’ve more just asked me who I compare myself to. I try to play like a Nick Riewoldt or Travis Cloke-type role.

That is the risk you take with big men. Part of me thinks this is the reason we got the upgraded 3rd Round pick from the Hawks, if we could get him at this price (considering the depth in this draft) I would be stoked.

As long as we give up relatively little, this would be a good get for us and I can definitely see him being a handy pick up. I wonder what other clubs are prepared to offer the Dons for him.

Listened to David noble on the rush hour this arvo. Roo grilled him about gunston and 24. He said that on its own it may not seem enough but it has invisible links to other deals, and that it has to do with good faith created by that mega deal that the afl blocked
