Listening on 5AA, Cornsey said that Crows training became very heated between a few players, NC had to stepped in and tell the players to cool down.

Didn't name the players or give much more detail, so just wondering if anyone went down today and saw what happened.

What's this like the 3rd training we havent had a report and there's fisticuffs.

haha nothing wrong with people wanting to play and prove their the best.

As long as no lines are crossed, you have a laugh about it after and you know we're all a 'team' then it's a beautiful competetive fire.

Think the Monday sessions may be behind closed doors, right? Or am I thinking of the old Tuesday sessions?

I'm sure if there was anything really bad in it we'd hear all about it. I for one am glad to hear there's real heat and passion there! :thumbsu:

It looked like a fairly open session when they showed it on the news....but they didn't mention anything about there being a heated moment.

Shirley and Mackay probably got annoyed that their lockers have been taken over because Walker ran out of space to store all the fan mail and sacrificial offerings given to him by Bigfooty Crows fans.
Walker was throwing most of it into the vacant #19 locker. and Johncock and Maric got annoyed about it as well.

I think it's safe to say Luke Jericho came to training wearing a Mullett wig trying to pass himself off as Tails. But when he spoke and a squeek came out instead of a manly growl the players caught on.

Maric proceeded to stab Jericho using an acient Croatian sword make of the bones of vanquish warriors, while Bernie Vince bowled bouncers at him, Jacky jumped around aimlessly, Shirley niggled him, Hentchel did his little foot shuffle on him and when Walker rocked up Jericho died of impressment as Tails began kicking them from the defensive 50.

Now you're just being silly.

Off topic, but I frequently tell a similar joke about Sylvester Stallone. Apparently they used a shaved gorilla as a body double for him in some of his movies (might have been one of the Rambo or Rocky movies). The substitution was only revealed when the gorilla opened its mouth... and spoke with better diction than Sly himself.

Does anyone else laugh at the end of Rambo because they have no idea what he's saying. You know the bit where he's crying about his mates legs being somewhere else.

I'm glad I didn't see that at the movies because the dirty looks I would get for laughing during what's meant to be a sombering moment would be absolute daggers.

It was Johncock hitting Tex.

Appently he couldnt find his big macs that were under all of Tex's fan mail that had been thrown into the #19 locker.

I was right next to it when it happened but just missed it as I was looking away. So obviously it didn't last long and Craigy stepped in straight away. Not much in it.

It was a 2.5hr session on Max Bash btw.

Jacky hurting ankle, Porsche doing full training, Danger coming late and Truck/NVB still in injured group is about the only news.

Not sure who it involved, it was at a bounce near the footy express boundary (during a scratchy) by the time I heard Craigy blow his whistle and start yelling all the players were still.

Wait, all of this sounds important! Jacky hurt his ankle? How bad? Porplyzia being back is good but I thought Truck was due back to training this week as well. Why was Dangerfield late? Did the staff seem annoyed or was he doing stuff indoors first?

Yeah a little bit, he was flowering loud! Stopped the players in their tracks :D

Btw, I can't be bothered writing a full report but seeing as it looks like I was the only one there, if you've got any questions throw 'em at me.

I spoke to Andy Otten after about his rd.1 chances and he said if Truck's out then he's in as a third tall in defence, he also said if they move Stevens forward the he'll play. Seemed to consider himself more of a defender now. I'd play him as a MID/flanker whether Truck plays or not. He's a great guy btw.

Should we read from this that if Rutten comes in, Otten goes out? Did he elaborate at all?

Who stood out at training? Did Walker do anything awesome? Did Danger impress after showing up late? Was Davis doing full training? Did Cook look good?

Anything noteworthy! ;)
