And blugal, Walker is now doing about 90% or training, just runs laps on a few drills with ball, but is stayed back after training to have kick with Carazzo after training.

Every time anyone questions anything you say you fly into a rage and sprout all kinds of garbage relating to your rights blah blah, but you go around making outrageous comments based on nothing and cast aspersions on people left right and centre.

IT was called having a bit of fun. Having a laugh. I dont think i'm the only one who has criticised Waite's kicking. It's ok to laugh occasionally and to see things through less serious eyes.

I reckon it might be time for some people to have a cold shower. I can understand the heated debate on threads about the upcoming board election, but I think it might be an idea to take a step back here. As ODN has stated in the thread on infractions, if things start getting too personal, we may start awarding infractions for attacks on fellow Carlton supporters. They haven't played a game yet, so i don't rate them at all in fact.

So i think you have me mistaken with someone else.

I don't get over excited by a player no matter where they are picked in the draft til they are playing consistent football.

Otherwise you look back and see people making stupid assumptions that the likes of Massie and Livingston are going to be guns because of where they are picked even before they play a game.

And yup i rate Ackland above Walker in his importance to the teams structure, and will glady debate that point.

As for the photo.

Could it be that Carrazzo is calling out something rather than exclaiming "Ohhhh"?

Maybe he's shouting "Yours Fev", a very common call on a football field to nominate the man going for the ball.

Saddington's stance and eye direction immediately should tell you there are players leading up the ground towards them as he's moving towards the direction of the ball.

He's following the play through in case the ball comes to the front of the pack and hits the turf and the crumbers swoop for it.

Obviously Anderson knows Waite has the ball so he's keeping a heads up to track the ball as it is sent forward, if he ran with his head down he'd not see where the ball was comming from. The earlier you start tracking the ball the more time you have to adjust your position in relation to the marking contest and where it might land.

Waite is a good 4-5 metres behind Joe at the time of the kick which he appears to have slightly mi******** with the laces facing outwards.

Waite, Saddington and Carrazzo are all looking to the the same direction.

It's called reading the play,a very common term in football education.

The stupidity isn't in my comments, it was in some of the answers to AWG initial question of what's going on there that made me laugh.

Amen to ASMS!!!! Finally someone with some football nouse on the Carlton board. I got sick of posting here because I felt nobody else had any feel for the game whatsoever.

Did anyone think that there could be more than one ball in the drill?? The ball pictured could be going straight across the screen... there's a very good chance the ball Waite has kicked is not even in shot. Anyone who is from a football background would know that there are very few drills that incorporate the use of only one ball.

This is all over one photo. For those that are angered by the 'lack of knowledge' of some supporters who have discussed the photo, you didn't need to get invovled if you thought it was ridiculous to discuss it.

We can all discuss what we like, and we were only having a bit of fun over a photo.
