Seems like they usually have a Friday main session when there is a Melb Sunday game, but must have changed this week. Cheers all. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

What time does the Sat Captains Run commence, normally?

Im not a user. But if i was i would be doing it alone so nobody caught me? Not infront of people with cameras

Young people do drugs together - it’s part of the fun, I guess. Never appealed to me but getting high or hallucinating alone is a bit boring. And naturally, it’s going to end up on camera if you’re with young men. Hate to see what goes through Snapchat - Crisp’s “leak” would be mild in comparison.

Yes I understand how the strikes work with illicit drugs in the AFL. That's not what I was talking about. I was talking about Oliver's drug use being the worst kept secret, for example. If so many people seem to know about his drug use, why hasn't something, anything been leaked to the media. He's obviously not that careful, if everyone seems to know about it..

The AFL is quite good at getting journalists not to report inconvenient truths. There’s always the mental health card for a start. I for one appreciate the mental challenges of drug usage and public humiliation but part of positive mental health is taking responsibility for your actions and working with support staff to become a better person.

Mitch Cleary Posted it also.
Oliver’s absence due to a strike.
Rich and Gunston also rumoured to be missing for the same reason.

I thought it was odd that they suddenly felt they weren’t good enough and would be doing a pre-season to meet the standard. What player voluntarily goes to their coach and asks to be dropped? Maybe a Sier who’s not committed?

If they support the player concerned, that's fine & how it should be. But I'm not sure why they need to say the player will be publicly named after the 2nd strike if they never have any intention of naming them. It probably only feeds rumours like the ones currently going around, which btw, I've only read on this forum.

No secret Clarry loves his drugs.

Watch as the AFL was more than happy to throw Ginnivan under the bus but Golden Boy Clarry can have a quiet way out. I suppose there's no footage of Clarry. Also wouldn't want to admit to a drugs crisis in the AFL.

I know for a fact that Oliver has 'self reported' on a number of occasions.

Whether it's true or not, where there's smoke, there's a ranga with a coke habit.

Just for ElliottsMaggies I will ask you a question. The extension of your outlandish statement is that Oliver has self reported more than once which necessarily means he had a second strike. The only way a player can avoid a suspension after self reporting is by claiming a mental health condition and committing to a treatment program which needs to be signed off by the AFL.

Not sure what mental health condition a player could claim for cocaine use?

Failing that "loophole", a second strike gets an automatic 4 week holiday and public naming.

Which option is it?

So I call b/s on what you know "for a fact".

I never said anything of the sort. I never stated anything as fact. The first I heard of any drug issue with Oliver was on this forum. Apparently it's all over Twitter, which I don't use. Also Reddit, something else I don't use. Someone asked what was the rumour. I merely repeated what has been posted on multiple forums including this one.

You're carrying on as if a. I'm the only person to have repeated the rumour. And b. As if I made the damn rumour up.

For the record, I couldn't give a rat's if he's on drugs or not.

How can a FACT - then be followed by a qualification like “ whether it’s true or not”.
It’s either a fact and therefore true, or it’s not a fact.

You've got it wrong.

This truth approach is great if it's a Pies player avoiding rumours, but if it's an irritating pasty ranga star from the opposition - let the cow paddies fly.

Maybe take a look at who I was responding to? It wasn't you.

+ De Goey.

Dean completed a running session, as stated by Wade, he is now doing two a week, as he builds up. Should be completing three sessions a week starting next week.

They went from a warm up, to conditioning/running sprints, then into game type drills. Mainly game senarios where they are down by 2 goals with 3 minutes left situations.
Then a small match simulation. Only 26 players so wasn't too many on each team, but they made it work.

Nick trained with the mids
Howe and Frampton with the defenders

Lippa more midfield looks like.

You couldn't tell any changes by this group, so we'll see tonight. Thankfully our last round with extended bench, given we only have sat and fridays from here on out.

I actually couldn't care less if you believe me or not.
