Training Reports from Today?

Report from another Site:

Ok, I may be jumping the gun here since I only watched the warm up and the first 15 minutes of training today but here were my observations on injuries:
- Presti the only obvious player not training (and I guess Dicky too, didn't even see him)
- Fraser moved well, no strapping, no obvious issues
- Ball had messy strapping on his right knee but moved without problems
- Medhurst looked fine to me

Other things.... from their opening drills:
- Ball was just harrassing everyone (which is great, he looks hungry)
- Shae McNamara just looked frustrated during the opening drill but certainly didn't look out of place... who knows... late 2010... maybe 2011?.... He is a giant of a man
- Harry O's talk from start to when I left was sensational - oh and he looks like he's bulked up... he is now officially a TANK!
- Corrie (yeah I know he didn't help us last year) looks heaps fitter... he really looks trim so who knows... .he paired up with Maj in their handball/kick-to-kick so if he sticks close to him who knows what he can offer.

Hmmm what else.... oh yeah... God I wish Buckley was part of this group.... can you imagine him with Pendles, Ball, Sidey, Beamer and co beside him..... ah dreams....

Photos to come... nothing special but I'll post the better ones as soon as I can.

Josh

Interested to see if Fraser & Cloked trained with the main group again. From photos I've seen, both did on Wednesday which is good news. Steele, Leigh Brown and Sinclair also back in the main group.
Cook, Scott Reed & Presti did stationary ball work and run throughs. Dick ran laps and joined in with some handballs.

This is all Wednesday not today and just from what I picked up in 100 odd photo's on someone's facebook page.

Why did they not share the Pics with us:mad:

Not interested in the greater good. Tell me how do you paste pics into regular posts and I'll whack some in.

I know Maxwell is still young and will probably hold the throne for years to come (which is far from a bad thing, I think he is a brilliant on-field leader), but does anyone else think Harry O would just be an outstanding captain?
Every time I've been to training he has been absolutely exceptional, he has an aura and a presence about him that people can't help but be drawn into I find. He leads from the front at training and on the field, my jaw drops when I think how far he has come from when he first got rookied.

Not to mention he is a terrific speaker and club identity, he is an exemplary person off the field with his charity work and the likes.

Like I said, I expect Maxwell will be in the role for awhile to come, which is absolutely fine, I just think Harry would be terrific as well. Maybe they should co-captain :)

No thanks!!
You don't have to be captain to be an inspiration.
I think Maxy is thriving with his new role whereas it seems Harry O can thrive without it.
We need as many leaders as possible.... Doesn't mean we need to give them all the captaincy.

Harry and Maxwell are both quality dudes. Harry would do an excellent job in my book. Two strong leaders in the backline, and Ball I think will prove excellent in the midfield. Don't know if we've got such a presence up forward.

Yeah probably has a shot down the track ... along with Pendles and maybe Heater's run hasn't completely been shot down..... But Maxy should be in the hot seat for quite awhile and as we know from last year's effort well and truly deserved. :thumbsu::)

One thing about Harry though in years to come ... I'm tipping he'll be Australian of the year at some point in his life. I'm serious too. He has the making to be very important in Australia's history, national community and/or culture.
