Surely it's time one of you WA based posters got down to training and gave us in the East an update.

I am particularly interested in news on:

MacDougall
Sampi
Hunter
Seaby
Staker

I expect if the team is to do anything spectacular this year, ie a Top 3 finish, these will be the players to chuck an Embley an move into a consistently performing role , winning most contests and providing strength around the ground.

Take the following list:

Gardiner
Cousins
Kerr
Judd
Embley
Matera
Wirrpunda
Jones
Braun

Add these names playing tough hard match-winning footy and this team has serious potential.

I'll be going down to the scratch match rtomorrow to take a look at the boys and take some photos with the digital cam.... so I'll be able to see then.

from what i've heard and read (though i haven't seen for myself)

MacDougall - bulked up. doing well.

Sampi - came back from Xmas over wieght but has now lost it. looks good.

Staker - been training in efence.

I'll be doing a full GBU (and book of woosha!) for the intraclub tomorrow- i'll try and put it up some time tomorrow night.
Eagle_Fan is also supposed to be taking photos, so if they look crap you can blame her.

Chris Connelly thinks if the Dockers win the Grand finals they'll be the best team in the 'world'... then they showed the dockers training and you saw parker(i think couldn't see) miss his target with a kick from only 20m away and then clumsy clive drop a simple mark, who is he kidding?

I'll be going along as well so I am sure between all of us we will be able to answer some questions.

BTW when does the game start?

Footygoss has it starting at 4.30

Training times on AFL website say West Coast
Friday, February 6
4.30pm (Practice match, Subiaco Oval)

Story on AFL website says

http://westcoasteagles.com.au/default.asp?pg=news&spg=display&articleid=131237

" Bouncedown for the February 6 fixture is at 5.30pm with a second intra-club practice match taking place the following Friday, February 13, at Subiaco Oval at 4.30pm. "

great Mead !

Can't wait to see the GBU and "Book of Woosha"! Have really missed them.

I will be going - I think it starts at 5.30 but will ring the club tomorrow morning.

I'm looking forward to seeing how and which of our players stand up in the spine.

Love a report on our KPP's from tomorrow's scratchy if possible.

i was under the impression it was 4.30 training with the game at 5 (well thats wat the west says). i duno i'll get there at 5 but dont want to miss much cause its only 2, 20min halfs.

Be interested to see how they pull up after training in the Kal heat.
I don't know what GBU means?
Would like to know matchups more than anything else from the scratchy. If someone could note these down and relay them that would be fantastic
