Garns doing everything was positive. Bailey Scott didn't look out of place (other than being skinny) and Thomas is smooth. Taylor was well involved and showed some signs. Xerri was doing laps but is looking fir as. Big fella too. Will fill out well. Larkey has put on some size and had the better of duels with McKay from what I saw.

Doing everything - booze, weed, mushies, uppers, downers, ether.

I love Wrighty but I can see him being pushed out by the likes of EVW, Pittard and Murphy (which I am fine with).

Considering how much time he missed I thought he showed a real improvement curve over the end of the season. Whoever gets games is almost irrelevent in some ways cos the pressure for spots should make both sides (AFL and VFL) better.

Thanks for these GR. I'm very disappointed that no one blessed you after the sneeze.

Thought the same re mckay vs Larkey. Also noticed a bit of niggle between the two.

Spot on re Bailey Scott. If he doesnt turn into a consistent AFL mid then ill be shocked. Good pace, neat skills, footy brain, obviously fit. He also looked good when doing some snaps etc.

Kinky.
Polec seems to me to be the anti Lukey Mac. Whereas Luke's the life of the party, Polec doesn't say anything then goes to bed at 8.30 (he's my type of guy).
My new favourite player!

Same. His last game of the season was a standout, in particular.

Continues to be an underrated player in these parts. Class, skill and footy nous-wise, he's deep inside our best 22, IMO. Yes, he lost a yard of pace during the 'Rehab Years' but I'm yet to be convinced that it's a deal breaker where Sam is concerned. Even with the new additions to the side, provided there's no hiccups in the pre-season and his fitness continues to get back to what it was pre-injury (or near enough), he'll be in the side come Round 1 of next season.

In the words of the great Jon Bon "Anne" Jovi, I'm gonna keep the faith.

I find this interesting, not to say he is bad at it (he’s certainly shown some very creative traits in there). Can’t decide if it’s because they see him as a core 100% mid that will only occasionally slip forward or they feel he is damaging enough forward that he will benefit the most from midfield training while still causing mayhem forward. This kind of makes sense I guess as he is naturally creative and unlikely to ever be a lead up style forward that needs to work around the structures too much in the forward line. He’s certainly put on a lot of size this off season though. Interesting to watch him develop this season.
I said after that game he played for Werribee where he kicked that goal from 50-55 from a stoppage that I see him as definitely a mid as I didn't see him much being a fwd before as I thought with his evasion skills he'd be a better mid that can snag a goal. Same as I said I see Higgins more a mid around 18 months ago....but no doubt both will float fwd when they end their careers. Hell Higgins could prob even play HB at that time....but if his knee holds up I think he could pay for quite a number of years yet tbh.

Wright is definitely in the best 22. He desperately needed a full pre-season as yes he came good closer to the end of the year, i expect him to back to his best if only better in 2019 with all the competition for spots

Polec's. Your bald head position suggests your body was up very close to her and may of even had a bit of size in your rise.
That's ashmore. It was implying that Polec was staying over our house until he gets his housing situation in order. Yes in an alternate universe Ashmore and I are married. It's not cheating if it's in a different universe.

Speaking of Polec, i was very impressed with his ball use. Higginsesque really It'll be good to have two quality users hitting up our forwards.

Also, Zurhaar looked in ripping nick and was slotting them for fun from tight angles. A bit of a bolter I reckon.

How was the mood of the session Tron?
