I posted this on Cats Claw.
Went to training today.
They had a mini match type exercise. The players that stood out to me were:
- Tom Hawkins: Was on Spencer at the start but Harley was moved on to him. Took a fair few marks and presented well.
- Joel Selwood: Had quite a few possessions and was good in traffic.
- Joel Corey: Was the go to man at the stoppages.
- Charlie Gardiner: Play more as a half forward that a key forward, found the ball a bit.
- Nathan Ablett: Was played on Scarlett yet still took some marks.
- Henry Playfair: Played in the ruck and a bit down back. Did pretty well.
- James Kelly: Got a lot of the ball and liked to play on as well.
There were probably others but they are just a few off the top of the head.
There were a few players who didn't play in the this. King, Ottens and Owen were riding bikes and a few of the younger guys were doing running exercises. Mackie ran laps and Mooney did some boxing, which he probably already new how to do well.
They were training hard. A lot of running and a lot of skill work.

just stiring guys, no hard feelings
