Seriously though with FFP who will be able to afford a £150m transfer fee?
Only club is Bayern but they wont a) spend that much on 1 player and b) Messi's wage demands will **** up the clubs wage structure

I know the context of your post.

It was "I TOLD YOU SO".

Actually it was "You're being a hypocrite" but nice try.

Move on. Talk transfers or shut it.

Manchester United could easily afford a 150m transfer fee.

Only PSG, they could probably raise the cash by selling two of Falcao, Cavani, Verratti or Pastore.

They'd be lucky to get 150m for selling all of those listed (that's if they even had Falcao) let alone two of them.

the transfer fee is split over the years of the contract

give him a 10 year deal. lower basic wage, higher bonuses

there's plenty of ways around the joke that is ffp.

Even without doing that a club like United could afford it.

What's your source that says how FFP works exactly?

They'd only need to raise 100m in transfer fees + clear the two massive wages.

City will sell Lampard to Melbourne City FC for 150 million of the sheik ' s hard earned and then spend the "incoming" money on Messi. While loaning fat frank back to City at the same time. Job done.

Man Utd and Arsenal reportedly sniffing around Perez - would be a killer blow to lose the young lad (and Sissoko) in the same window...

Apparently we've put a loan bid in for AC Milan's M’Baye Niang and a deal could be finalised soon.

Forgot how much of a joke FFP is. Not sure if anyone will know this, can Barca get players as part of a deal selling a player?

E.g. Kompany + Silva + £70m (just an example not putting values on anyone)

no

they can have any loan players return, and call up whoever they want from barca b/c/whatever. no one from outside barcelona.

Is Sissoko for Cabaye going to happen? I like Perez but he needs to stay at Newcastle for the next few years to develop.
