Diego Costa will be moved on. Normally you would expect Atl Madrid to get him , but dont they have a transfer ban?

WHO'S AT FAULT?

We understand Monaco's complaint to FIFA regarding Kylian Mbappe relates to alleged conduct of Manchester City and PSG.

It does NOT relate to Arsenal.

Monaco reject £44.5m (€50m) bid from Manchester City for Benjamin Mendy. Understand Monaco value him higher than Kyle Walker. #mcfc #SSN

That bloody player inflation hey.

Clubs milking others is probably to blame for this.

Doesn't help when you tap up other players they own.

Throw the book at them, they're destroying the beautiful game.

Don't think anyone is saying a deadline day deal for Sissoko for 30m was good value. But it's an absolute joke to try and say deals like that is why English clubs have to pay exhorbotent transfer fees.

So a deal made by the 6th richest club in the league has impact on what the 1st or 2nd richest does? Guess we could pass the buck down to Bournemouth who paid 15m for an uncapped English winger earlier in the window ;)
And neither is Chelsea paying 60m for Morata which was the point of the whole discussion. Clubs everywhere are overpaying for players and demanding ridiculous fees to sell them which is affecting the market, you can't blame it just on the big boys.

Who would posters choose, AOC or Barkley?
Definitely Barkley for me, and not just because the other plays for Arsenal. Barkley crated more chances than any other u23 player in Europes top 5 leagues last season. The next few on the list were the likes of Lemar, Fekir and Suso. I was surprised by that stat, but impressed considering that it's widely acknowledged that there is still a lot of improvement to come from him. I genuinely hope we get it done soon as I believe he could be special under Pochettino and think he would compliment the Kane, Alli, Eriksen triumvirate nicely.
