Matic will be a great pick up for United. Unfortunately didnt suit greatly what Conte wants in a CM(as to why we upgraded him) but hes Mous type of CM.

Leaves us thin in the CM with him and Chalobah leaving so we need to bring in another CM.

Not so sure you have upgraded him just yet, Bakayoko is good no doubt but he has had one good season in a team that he was probably the 5th or so best player, he still needs to perform now in a better league against tougher opponents.

He is an upgrade on Matic with the style we play and what Conte wants from a CM. He was very good for Monaco last season(and a monster in the middle in the UCL games against the EPL clubs). We won't be getting out muscled in the middle as easily.

Matic is a very good DM, but he's a bit slow and one sided. Mou will use him better than what Conte did. Will be good for you guys.

Liverpool should try to sign him this summer. You can't keep selling your best players without signing quality replacements every summer. I reckon Perisic would be up for the move and Inter will like the fee Liverpool can offer. Liverpool get some quality in the side and Inter get a mammoth fee. Win-win for both parties.

I think most of our board can't figure out why he didn't get a decent run. When he did play, he banged them in.

Yeah I reckon that's where the link may have originated. The young Spain U21 kid we signed from Dortmund (Mikel Merino) mentioned Rafa as one of the reasons he joined the club.

I think the optimism of being promoted has kind of evaporated. There was all this talk of Rafa having a war chest and having access to "every penny available" but seems like he is hamstrung by the club either financially or due to the deal brokers at the club being too tight on the negotiations.

Knowing us, it could easily be Rafa leaves the job after a handful of games. Cashley did the same with Keegan.

all the places in france that were on the dani alves late move are on this. psg are very open in france with their dealings. they seem very confident. barca and their fans really think he's gone. psg could send a player the other way (di maria, lucas moura, matuidi) to smooth it over a bit, but i would expect this to be done.
