Shocked mate.

Such poor advise too from whoever is handling his camp. This close to the start of the season, with no replacement lined up after we have made an official statement that he wont be sold.

He wont be sold.

All he has done has ruined his relationship with the fans.

Dumb move.

Rose just did likewise regarding the fans, it's never the same afterwards.
The guy who does fam blud TV said the same about RVP, has a shirt he threw into the crowd at the Bridge but since he left it's collecting dust in a closet.

The affinity fans have for players is a fickle bitch sometimes.

This is like DDG all over again.

There will be a lot of rumours, a deal may even be very close to being agreed, but the player's original club has all the cards in that he is still contracted and very much a key player with no quality replacement lined up, and the transfer window is closing rapidly.

More likely than not imo that Coutinho will stay.

Yep... he's ruined it for me. I was a huge Coutinho fan. Loved him to bits. Now I honestly dont care.

I'm sure he will stay and I'm sure he will play and most probably play well but it's not the same now.

It's a shame it has to be that way, but it seems to happen more and more.

I don't blame the players entirely. Clubs spread stories about them just as much as players play the PR game with the clubs.

Look at someone like Coutinho and this might be his last chance at a big move to someone like Barca. It's a move that might not be available to him next summer so I can kind of understand him agitating for a move.

But, no-one forces players to sign long term contracts, and no-one forces players to wait until the last possible moment to submit a transfer request.

So Duncan Castles was right. Now we see other 'journos' (who is Bascomb) feeding off his scraps. But we all know who the man in the know is. Must give credit where its due as Duncan has been hot on this for a while.

Now Cout has a 'back problem' lol.

Pool are holding him against his will. His fam said he tried to tell them to let him go but they're not budging and have forced him to hand in a transfer request. They're trying to save money on loyalty bonus and trashing his name instead of focus on getting it done and finding replacement.

Lol.

Pretty sure we're actually just trying to keep our best players at the club, like any club would do.

Lewis Baker signs a new contract with Chelsea even though he will never play for them and is immediately shipped out on loan to Middlesbrough for 2 years..

You're stepping on Donnies toes.

Well, there's no way he's hasn't put a few £££ on it.

I'm rather indifferent. Happy to take the punt if the price is cheap but I am not confident it will be.
He's essentially a £40m+ bench player who compared to our starting no.10 is very inferior. League goals last 3 seasons. 5, 8, 2 assists. 9, 8, 2. Now Eriksen goals. 8, 6, 10. Assists. 15, 15, 2. So 24 to 15 goals and 32 to 19 assists. At that price. Meh.

It's like losing the toss on a slightly green pitch, you wouldn't mind missing out and someone else taking the punt.
