Starting to have my doubts about Liverpool again. Good side but I’m not convinced by Klopp. Has he won anything with Liverpool? He hasn’t capitalised on a weak league since he made the switch over and was beaten to the punch by Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester when all the big boys were sleeping. The best Liverpool have looked in the PL era is under B Rodgers. Klopp is yet to have Liverpool playing anything remotely near the level B-Rodge had them playing in 13-14, which admittedly was frightening stuff.

He isn’t quite as good as Conte and Poch at getting the best out of players so I’m not really sure what all the fuss is about. I thought Pool could win the league, but was I just getting sucked into their usual early season hype? Is it just another false dawn? Will the cream actually rise this season?

Well the main contention of my post was that Ox wants the Liverpool move because there's more of a chance he will play midfield there due to the weaker competition in comparison to Chelsea. Is that necessarily wrong?

I don't think you understand his point. Latro's not saying Ox is better than them, rather that Ox himself would believe he is better.

It will happen this season with the world cup at the end of it. They won't want to be played in a position that's not in the national set up.

Like it matters for England, they'll get knocked out by Greenland anyway.

Have you seen the market? 35m ain't much in today's market. As said previously he will most likely be replacing Milner as a utility player when he moves on at the end of the season if we sign him.

It isn't the world cup, it's players like Milner and Ox and even Beckham and Gerrard who try to dictate where they should play. Milner moved to us coz we promised him central midfield even though he's crap there, seemingly doing the same with Ox. Beckham wanted to play central midfield at one stage even though he was crap at it, Gerrard wanting central mid after being player of the season on the right
