plenty of people have stopped going to games because of the cost of tickets. However, you don't hear about it because there are a shitload of people willing to pay it and so attendances don't change. It would be nice if EPL clubs reduced their ticket prices because they really don't need the money due to the TV deal.but tickets are expensive due to demands? pls. BVB sells out 84k most weeks, as does Bayern 75k, Stuttgart 55k (or close to it) and many other of the smaller clubs with their 30-35k stadiums.
The issue is foreign ownership. They need to recoup the costs of the players somehow. Increasing the prices help that marginally.
There's about a 40 year wait to get into the Sudtribune - its almost harder than MCC members!
The german clubs that are privately owned (RBL, Hoffenheim, Wolfsburg) all have away fans not attending or protesting due to high ticketing prices.
The prices are so high not because demand england, but because people still accept it, and will go along.
As much as Bayern are dickheads, last year (or was it the year before) they refunded every member the cost of their seats/standing area for the games they played after they had won the title (I think it was 3-4 games in total). Love to see an EPL club do that if they won early
but tickets are expensive due to demands?

Wow, I caught a barramundi!I can’t even be bothered going through this rubbish, but:
PL is shit for spectators. Expensive tickets, shit atmosphere, no standing etc etc
Last season England was the SECOND largest average attendance league. Second to, drum roll, germany. By 7k per game.
Big history? Forgot that some german clubs have been around since 1840s , haven’t received a cent of oil money and are still relevant. Forgot about Lazio/Roma/Milan etc.
Next time you go to a 2.Bundesliga game for €10, stand with 35,000 others and buy beers for €3, tell me again how german football is shit.
The English can spend all they want, they still can’t be the best teams in Europe.
The England team can’t win a World Cup cos they don’t have any good English players playing in their own country
The English can’t even ******* manage to have standing zones in their stadiums. For ****s sake, it’s that ******* simple.
Backwards money driven league played by a few rich kids and English farmers boosting long balls all day down the pitch and throwing down two footed tackles. Most boring, stop start games of football I’ve ever seen. Hopefully won’t play in champions league once that shithole of a country leaves Europe for good.
Did I mention you can’t stand at an English ground, nor get a 3€ beer?
+++ to this. I get the feeling that the big clubs in England forget why they are there in the first placeplenty of people have stopped going to games because of the cost of tickets. It seems as though you're only concerned with drinking yourself stupid at the football. I guess I would be too if I had to watch a Bayernliga game. In fact, I reckon if I went to one, I would strategically place my beer somewhere, leave it, go to the toilet and take a dump, watch EPL on my iPhone whilst I'm taking said dump, wipe my arse and not flush, come back after about half an hour, find my beer and pray that someone had spiked my drink with acid. Maybe then the league you follow would become somewhat interesting.
What's it like knowing who the winner of your league is going to be before the season even starts? Do they have open bus parades for whoever finishes second? How does the betting work? Maybe Borussia Dortmund should bet on Bayern Munich to win it every season so they make enough money to retain their players for once. You must have a love-hate relationship with that club. They rob you of your best players, shit on you during the season but keep your league reputable in Europe. Bayern Munich are like Borussia Dortmund's step dad.
When did you start to hate the best league in the world anyway? Did it start when United stole Mkhitaryan off you? Or was it when Liverpool booted you out of Europe? Talk me through it.

we get it mate, you support richmond. I'd drink myself stupid tooF*** I was blind that night haha
That's nuts, so many people who like pain nowadays.Arsenal have a waiting list of around 40,000 people, roughly 11 years.....and that's with an average season tick costing £1,300
Hahaha classic.English being almost universal whereas German is barely spoken outside 3/4 countries would be another reason.
Compared to no one giving a shit about anything that comes out of England the shit holeHahaha classic.
Besides cars, no one really gives a shit what comes out of Germany.

Shit like this and stupid kickoff times for Asians. For objective viewers not swayed by marketing like Pep, they see through this stuff.
