Arsenal need Alexis to win EL which could be worth 50m to them. They will be looking at that amount at least from the slave drivers. Otherwise it just isn't worth it for them to sell.
Perhaps true, but only with a fully committed, engaged Sanchez. But he’s not. Mentally he’s checked out, and the care factor isn’t what it used to be.

Footballers are humans too in the sense that any major form of distraction etc in their lives is going to impact their job performance. In this case, he clearly wants out, his teammates know that, the fans know it, the club knows it, the football world knows it.

He’s not performing as well as he has been. Nothing to do with capability, it’s all in his mind. Once he’s at the club he wants and revitalised, I expect him to dominate again and hope he does so. Am a huge fan of his. But for now, his best football for Arsenal is in the past.

Keeping him threatens a pretty toxic environment, more so than it’s already been allowed to be. Arsenal’s utter incompetence in handling player contracts is unrivalled, but surely a solution just needs to be closed now and allow this ridiculous saga to end.

Manchester United, Juventus,
I reckon we would be a decent chance at Europa League with Sanchez. Athletico Madrid would be the only team I would truly fear drawing.
Napoli are a better side than Arsenal and I think there is atleast 4 others that would beat you aswell.
I’d have Arsenal as about 5th or 6th favourites currently

Whereas Ozil is motivated as his spot in a hotly contested German team isn't assured.

Napoli, Atletico for mine the only sides better. Would have Dortmund, Leipzig, Lyon, AC Milan all behind Arsenal.

This is true. I do have the growing feeling that Ozil will re-sign but then again I think that if he was going to do so, he’d have done it already.

Is Ozil out of contract this summer too?
Yes. Wilshere too. And at the start of the season, Ox too. At least Arsenal did something about that.

But to have Ozil and Sanchez both winding down their contracts is simply unacceptable contract management from the club.

The Napoli squad is pretty thin to the point that there president has come out and said they are just to focus squarely on winning the league and not worry about the cup competitions. Good news for Leipzig in the next round. Who would you consider the 4 others out of interest?

Edit: Just read above

IT BEGINS!

Thailand's number 1, and yet another international captain. Boy, we love our captains, even if its the feeder team.

Interestingly, the Thai fans seem disappointed in the move. They wanted to see him start for a J-League team. Considering some of the highlights, and what I know and have seen of the Thai team... I actually wouldn't mind him having a shot as the Number 2 for us.

Good way to get in. Hope it goes well for him as OHL go for promotion!
I remember him from our last group stage qualifying match. He turned into DDG and saved their arse more times than I hoped. Maybe he's ok after all and it wasn't one of those nights.

Could say that about any player.
You could.
I believe he was just comparing Ozil’s situation to Sanchez, who doesn’t have the same stakes (Chile didn’t qualify). Not that he’d have any problem being picked anyway.
More from the angle that he’d have had a motivation to at least keep up his form and fitness to be playing well in June.
Flip side could get to April-May and give little effort as self preservation for Russia.
