I still never really understood why he moved to Barca given he had to spend the first 6 months out of the team. Ok, sure, money talks but it was strange nonetheless. After he was eligible to play, he never got going at all.

Malcolm has arrived in London

We've pulled out of the race so it's to Arsenal which means Sanchez to one of the Manchester clubs is happening.

I just don't see where he fits in at United or who gets shunted out of Rashford, Martial, Lingard, Mata, Miki. Obviously it's the latter but will MoU actually be able to play 3 attacking types behind Lukaku?

Agent fees paid by clubs.

Talk Utd will need to cough up 10m in agent fees to get Alexis over the line on top of the transfer fee. In addition to the 300k wages seems a bit much for a player whos best days are behind him.
I don’t think his best days are behind him. Well for Arsenal, certainly yes.

But he’ll be revitalised in his new environment. A place where he wants to be. At the moment, he’s like a disgruntled and distracted employee, whose disengagement is severely affecting their performance.

I expect him to get back to his best and perhaps even better when he’s rejuvenated in his new surroundings. I hope so too. Huge fan of his. He’s too good for Arsenal.

Definitely. He's still elite, his heart just isn't in it at Arsenal more. He'll be a top 2-3 player in the league once he gets his mojo back.

I would hate him to go to United.

The agent has apparently. No mention that Malcolm has.

The amount United apparently have to pay to get Sanchez is going up by the day depending on the rag.

Their is no evidence to suggest United have made an offer. But if we do the contract wouldn't be much different to what City has offered and we'd simply have bid more to Arsenal.

Why not bench Lukaku and play Alexis in his position ?

How could he not fit in when he would be their best player?

I refuse to call this a rant but wtf is wrong with Chelsea approach, ambition and board
We have gone from big spenders to penny pinching merchant bankers
I mean the amount of mediocrity we have signed in the last two seasons is ******* ridiculous
How dare we sign Barkley even if he is cheap. How dare we even enquire into Andy Carroll
These players are fit for the bench and reserves at cheslea ffs man
Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Moses, Pedro, Batshuayi they are all squad players ffs man
The board ****** mourinho over and has screwed Conte over
Contest targets Morata, Kante have been sublime for us, the boards targets Batshuayi and Zappa have been less exciting. A complete overhaul is needed formation wise and squad wise
Five quality signings are needed with one being depth and quality backup striker
Hazard cannot carry this team on his own
Bakayoko needs to screen the defence not play box to box
Fabregas needs players to start making runs ffs
And hazard needs to pull his finger out
He needs support
And if we keep signing trash our only elite players in Christensen, Hazard, Kante, Azpilicueta and Morata will go walkabouts and then who's to blame Roman, Marina

My questions more who loses their place and eventually wants out of united
Miki doesn't really have a place to lose, Mata doesn't have much left to offer at this level, and Rashford is still way too raw to be a regular starter IMO.

Only Lingard and Martial are really good enough at the moment, and Lingard is the last player you'd expect to kick up a fuss about not starting.

Still though, I can't shake the feeling that all these United links are just a ploy to put the pressure on City.

There's nothing really wrong with the boards approach, we simply cannot rely on Roman's money forever and therefore a more sustainable transfer strategy has been adopted.

Don't forget that we have won two of the last three titles, just broke our transfer record, have a new stadium on the way and are sitting joint second in the league. So yes we could be attracting better, more expensive quality but the big dicks at the top are more than justified to implement a more sensible financial plan to keep us successful for longer.
