Actually I’ve seen him against Tunisia as well but I forgot about that. Those are just games for Belgium though. I’ve seen him play for United a few times as well. I mainly go off what my united supporter friend tell me and my other premier league following friends tell me.

As Memphis said, different beast. Got to keep in mind that besides last season he is very prolific in front of goals, unfortunately for him with the mental health stuff earlier last season he never recovered confidence. Change of scene will do him good.

Same could be said about Dybala and Higuain though, apart from last season they’ve been very prolific in front of goals as well.

I also don’t think Lukaku’s a bad player just not the right fit for us atm.

Higs probably cooked now. Dybala suffered from Ronaldo coming in. Still has the ability to be a world beater.

I think Higuain is lacking confidence from being thrown around on pointless loan moves rather than cooked. He’s looked alright in the pre season so far.

And Dybala suffered from Allegri’s poor offensive tactics more than anything.

Ronaldo’s arrival only sparked a reaction in Allegri to coach poorly, himself being in the team didn’t actually cause Dybala to play bad. It was mostly on Allegri’s hard on to defend deep and persists with sub standard midfielders and leave our creative players on the bench.

Fair enough, I'll trust your judgement on Juventus.

With 10 days to go before the EPL window shuts do we expect a late rush or are prices at a stage now teams will/can only make 1 or 2 decent purchases?

Market seems to be awaiting a deal to be done to trigger others.

Apparently Arsenal told Monaco they want 30m for Mustafi 😂

His market value is 25mil and he has two years left on his contract. It's not that far off.

We are a lot weaker than when the season finished, only credible links seem to be for Gbamin & Kean. Scraping the barrel here

Idrissa Gueye to PSG for undisclosed. Was good but we need better. Passing was abhorrent at times.
A massive loss for the club, has been our most consistent player over the last three years.

I’m happy for him to secure a deal to a Champions League club that’ll also win silverware. He was an ultimate professional and a class act. Some of our former players could take note!

He’s certainly not irreplaceable and I’m content with £30m for someone turning 30yo but it’ll take a very good player to improve from him.

On a more exciting note Moise Kean is now looking very close!

Supposedly having a medical tomorrow. Hopefully no buyback clause.

According to the Guardian it’s a £29m deal with the potential to rise to £36.5 after add ons and NO buyback clause.

Well and truely worth the wait, well done to Brands and all involved.

Now let’s hope he can reach his full potential at the club!

Now we need that midfielder and defender unless they are going in with a young defence back up. Bolasir, mirallas and Martina still on the books. Feel sorry for Tosun being brought in under fat Sam and shuffled out under Silva.
